Unlimited Blade Works - Equipy Warriors

No need to point out I am not the original creator of the term/phrase/name Unlimited Blade Works. If you do...then don't.

Aside from that disclaimer, Gosh My Oh, Is Lex posting a deck under 50 cards?

Indeed he is! Soon enough, he'll be posting a 50 card deck as well, once he's done staring down the cards on his table, and talking in third person.

As you may or may not be able to tell from the deck's name, This deck is based around equip cards, mostly the super swords of the TCG, and then Evocator shooting them like bullets into the opponent's face. It also, currently, has a high beatdown potential, due to the many ATK boosting cards in it.

This is another conceptual deck, made for fun and based off some fun-ness that inspired me. The main factor is that we want to have lots of the fun swords of the TCG, Like Sword of Deep-Seated, Salamandra, and Fusion Sword Murasame Blade. Because of this, we want a lot of cards that revolve around equip effects, and work well with them. Finally, this deck is a straight-warrior deck. Only warrior types allowed!

Without further ado, Here's a deck list.

Total : 46 (Needs some chopping)

Extra Deck (3...well...1)

E.Hero Phoenix Enforcer
E.Hero shining Phoenix Enforcer (They're just chillin', since they can't do anything...)
Gaia-Knight, Force of Earth (Once I find my 2nd one...where is he?!)
So tell me what you think, and give me ways to improve it. I want a sword of Dragon's soul, since its another of those fun super swords of the TCG. as you can see, there's a bit of focus on FIRE attribute warriors, but they don't have much support, aside from the Kid. So, chuck out your suggestions on how to make this deck the best it can be, and how I can cut it down a bit. It difinately needs to be a fast, 40-card deck, so right now I have a tiny bit too many.

Gilford is nice for this deck:
...if im not tributing the field to summon him. The point is to use the swords as ammo to either clear the back row or zap a nasty monster I don't like. If Evocator gets burnned away in the process, then the pain will be painful.

Assault Armor tickles my curiosity bone, and I've run it several times, but to no avail. It's desire and my style don't mesh well.
-1 Sword of Deep Seated
No +5!

Currently, That sword is the only thing that cycles for reuse. It locks down my drawing ability, so its only really useful in early game mocking the opponent, but its cycling capability is wonderful. The reason Spirit Burner isn't in here (I have four, for Evocator) is because its not a sword. Remember, even if it destroys the deck, we want to focus on swords, otherwise it just wouldn't be Unlimited Blade Works! ;)
--On that note, what are some of the "super swords" of the TCG that you can think of?

I would definitely have United We Stand or a Supervise in there if I had one, although Supervise is a bit iffy, since its other effect gets Gemini/Normal monsters from my graveyard, of which there are few in the deck.

The problem with Deep-Seated is that while it does cycle back, you also lose your draw with it. That's why it's not [s]as popular[/s] used at all. If you're THAT worried about returning your Equip Spells, try running more Divine Swords and Fairy of the Springs. They function far better in terms of deck flow in comparison to Deep-Seated.
Just try Ben Kei OTK.
I will when I find the Little bugger! I found my Hidden Armory, but not Benny. *Le sigh*

While I realize Deep-Seated locks up my draw, and becomes crappy because of it, the purpose of the deck isn't to be the world champ mega ultra deck, its to be Unlimited Blade Works. Sword of Deep-Seated is just one of those powerful swords, albeit a bad one, that goes in the deck.

Never once did I imply that. What I AM implying is that I want to see the deck function as well as it can. I feel that it CANNOT function as well if the draws are being stunted constantly due to Sword of Deep Seated. Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade and Fairy of the Spring do (imo) just as good of a job at returning, and don't clog the deck.
