RAEGING D0GKING
I tested on YVD what would happen if it could Special Summon a Naturia monster if it was used for a Synchro Summon. I drew 6 cards and on my first turn I got out Magical Android/Catastor, Goyo and Brionac. I had 7 monsters in my grave and Debris, Mind Control and Spirit Reaper in my hand. Anyway discuss the card. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Naturia_Cliff
Solemn Silver
Yvd doesnt work for me
When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Naturia" monster from your Deck to your side of the field in face-up Attack Position.
Wow, this is good. But is it mained in naturias? I Dont really know the decktype. Oh, and i think you can get a level 4 or lower when you Synchro summon with it
Toffee.
Cliff is pretty much a weird version of Sengan, for Naturias. Its what makes him awesome.
RAEGING D0GKING
Ctrl + Alt + Win : lol Naturia Cliff is the best Naturia monster and no you dont get a lv4 or lower monster if you synchro with it or if your tribute it. Only if it is destroyed by battle or destroyed by a card effect.
Solemn Silver
Well It says sent, meaning when it goes to the graveyard. Wouldnt it act like dandylion (only the field) or sangan?
Bringerofcake
Missing the timing sucks, donnit?
-Griffin
Sure does. Sure does. It's still one of the better Naturias.
~NOiSE~
This is pretty much the one card I need for my Naturia deck...how many should I run?

The ReBeL
how is it possible that it misses timing. is that a cost for synchro and stuff i mean sangan happens right it should work the same way. plus rulings state it can happen right? Brinolovania
*sigh* THE EFFECT IS OPTIONAL.
VolTama
*sigh* THE EFFECT IS OPTIONAL.
For those who don't know what this means, you can't use effects that say "can" unless the condition is the last thing that happens. In this case, you can't activate Cliff's effect after sync summoning b/c the last thing to happen was the summon, not Cliff being sent to the graveyard. -Griffin
The word "can" isn't enough to stop it. It's the combination of the word "when" at the start and "can" making it optional. If "when" is replaced by "if", then it would work even if it was still optional.
Bringerofcake
TLDR: Konami needs to translate effects better.
"If" represents a condition for activation, and does not represent timing, which is why these effects activate the next possible opportunity. -Griffin
Which, yeah, is what I said =O Although, note, if it was an 'if', and was tributed for, let's say, Caius, would it form a separate chain or chain to Caius?
