Legend of Zelda Cards

Bump,

I am still fairly new here and although many of these comments are positive I would like to learn how I can improve from more senior members with plentiful experience. My 20-or-so cards should be enough scope as to criticise or even praise me and I understand that posts made or not made maliciously but with a view to improving the card maker, so on that basis is there anyway I could get some feedback if you think you are an experienced member with a wealth of knowledge to bestow.

Greatly appreciated,

Regards.....

For your first set of cards these are outstanding.

The effects are inspired, the images are engaging and overall the cards are phenomenal and these are your first ever ones???!!! O_o

As I newbie I made a zelda set and mine dont even compare to yours, just think of what you will be like when you get to over 1000 posts. My only slight criticism is the fact that (i'm no expert though) the OCG seems a little bit wordy I don't know wether there is any way you could perhaps review it.

You have the potential to go very far here, good luck

Fixed this wording for you:

You can tribute 1 DARK Monster you control to decrease this card's ATK by half the ATK of the Tributed monster, and destroy 1 monster your opponent controls with less ATK than the Tributed monster. When this card declares an attack, your opponent cannot negate it. Battle Damage this card inflicts is treated as Effect damage instead. When this card is selected as an attack target, except by a DARK Monster, you can remove from play this card to Special Summon 1 DARK Monster from your hand, ignoring the summoning conditions.

These look interesting, I might comment more later.

Edit: For your 1st set, you did way better then me. (I have 4+ years of experience, even before joining YCM but I stilll remeber my early attempts)

you doin good mayne, your OCG is still slightly off, but you've improved on it
my only criticism to this set is the pic for Shiek is kinda meh
just the face is kinda not very appealing to me lol
but that's just me, i look at the pics more than the effects when it comes to cards on this site so yeah lol xD

you doin great, this thread is basically at the same level as my current thread lol, except my thread is huge because of the pictures and immense amount of cards lol

but in terms of just cards you might be better than me lol xD

Thanks very much for the OCG fix on Ganondorf, that was very helpful :)

Thanks very much, care to elaborate though, is there anything I could have done better?

In fact I regret to inform you that it is you who are mistaken unfortunately.

My young link is in fact the "young link" from ocarina of time and toon link is actually from LOZ the wind waker so there is quite a distinct diference.

Thanks for commenting

Have you thought about playing with these online?
Although I'm flattered I don't think I would play with them online for a couple of reasons:

-I don't think my cards are quite good/realistic enough to play online
-I don't think you could even play with your custom made cards online

Thanks anyway :)

i c no dif.

betewn yong n toon

Don't worry it's a common mistake.

To put it simply there are two timelines that run within The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time, a future timeline and a past time line so it is therefore correct that the links from each timeline are labelled differently in order to differentiate from each of them. In the future timeline our hero is simply referred to as Link as he is the mature hero ready to save Hyrule however his very same character in the past time line is referred to as young link. He is referred to as young link in order to contrast with the link in the future and to highlight to the player that young link is not quite mature enough to save Hyrule yet.

Toon Link is a completely different character altogether. To be precise, he is the hero from the LOZ The Wind Waker and is referred to as toon Link due to the cel-shaded graphics which ornate the game. These cel-shaded graphics create a "toon-like" effect and in colloquial terms he is referred to as toon Link.

I hope that clears it up for you.

ya cards are cool ^_^
Although I appreciate the kind words is there perhaps any way you could elaborate, as it would seem (with all due respect) like you simply used my thread as a platform to increase your number of posts.
