Personally, I would wait a little while longer. The iPad is relatively new technology, meaning that there are some flaws to it. The iPad 2 should be an improvement over the original when it comes out, and even if it isn't, you'll probably save money by waiting because the iPad will be old tech by then and the price will drop.
