[/quote] It seems a good percentage of YCM seems to think that Dark Hole is fine now, for the following reasons: • thanks to lots of special summoning, you can get a field of 2-3 monsters back in one turn easily • the good monsters tend to have +1 effects when Normal Summoned (Gearframe, Stratos, and Gadgets, for examples) and therefore pay for themselves Even some of the pro players on the forums say that Dark Hole is fine at 1. Personally, I think Dark Hole should be banned. We got Lightning Vortex to do the "balanced job" of Dark Hole. If Dark Hole had a condition of requiring a monster on your field (hence it not being a Raigeki) and you not being able to attack during that turn, I think it would be fine. Thankfully, YCM knows Heavy is banworthy and that doesn't need any explanation. This card is fine, it's the banworthy spells that break it. I think this could go to 1 safety. Heck, just for the lulz, I made an equation that could maybe determine what it should be at when concerned with the current banlist: #MoF = 3 - #DH - #MR number of Magicians of Faith = 3 minus number of Dark Holes in format minus number of Monster Reborns The deck that would best abuse MoF is flip trolls and I've never seen Flip Trolls get anywhere high in any major tournament.
