Q looks a lot better than KW...

Q is fine as it is and is hardly useless. -_-

Q.Q

Because KW.KW just isn't the same.
I'm talking about the letter "q" as the actual sound it makes.

You can make a smiley of Q.Q, just don't expect "Q" to be considered a legitimate letter.

QK

IT'S A NINJA~!

Who said anything about logic? My reality is my reality, and it has been substituted for your reality, thus your reality no longer exists ane my reality is dominant.
Yes, but your reality is infinitely stupider than my reality, and therefore your reality must be undoubtedly incorrect.

Not saying my reality is correct, but it is more probable to be correct than yours.

Personally, we need it for the name Quinn.

It looks sexy with that 'Q', and if you filled it with a 'Kw' it'd just look odd. Kwinn. No.

But yes, it is pretty useless otherwise.
I told you, acronyms and names are allowed to have Qs, similar to how I can have an acronym using weird-ass symbols and have a name spelled as *(#&@2.

If "quinn" was a word and not a name, however, we'd have to write it as "kwinn".

And personally, "Kwinn" is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than "Quinn", but maybe that is because of my horrible bias against the letter "Q".

I hope you guys realize that Dark is just trolling.
This is not trolling. He is clearly making a joke out of something he noticed. And we all caught on. Ie: He's just making a long drawn out joke. How that is trolling, it isn't.

We need more letters like the letter Q.

Dude is a loner.

Then I propose the letter:

Pronounced truh. And would be used as a combination letter for any word beginning in T, followed by a consonant. If after the start of a word it may replace an M in a noun.

Well, I think you are talking about the english vocabulary, but yeah in portuguese the letter q doesn't always have the sound of kw.

Like

questão

queijo

querer

querendo

quando (I kind of think this is a lame example because it does sound like 'kwando' but W is can also have a 'V' sound so... yeah)

So yeah, pretty much a word that starts with 'que' doesn't have the sound of 'kwe' so I think the letter q is more important in languages like portuguese and spanish.

Q is a good letter. It is the third most beast letter, after X and Y. And you know why Y is up there...

No one gives a damn about other languages, since I was only referring to English. In my own made-up language of Pastafariano, the letter "q" makes a "chu" sound.

PIKAQ, I QSE YOU!

But "que" turns into "k".
"querer" into "kyerer".
"querendo" into "kyerendo".

Yeah.

K is used, in my language, for words that starts loudly, like, Karaoke. And using qu is prettier than using a k. And your kyerendo would only be right if i was talking about spanish. But since it is portuguese and the sound is something like /qerendo/ then you are wrong. And will always. Infidel.

Look, this entire thread was made using the base language as English, not Portugeese or Spanish. I told you, in the language of Pastafariano, the "q" letter makes a "chu" sound, so I could easily argue that "q" is not useless- in my language, that is.

But in English, no one has yet proven me wrong that "q" is not useless. And time and time again I've shown examples of how "q" can be replaced with other letters that mimic the exact same sound. Trust me, I would hate to write yo kyero on a Spanish essay, but I wasn't talking about Spanish to begin with.

As such, would someone be so kind as to think of a single English word (that is not an acronym and that is not a name) where "q" actually serves a legitimate purpose? Thanks.

By the logic of 'Q' being useless here, so is K. it can be replaced by C, or CH. In fact, anything with CH can be pretty much replaced when it makes a K sound. TH can also be replaced with F or L, effectively. I know there is a difference in pronunciation there, but it's so minute I couldn't care less. You can trash half the spellings in the English language because they can be easily replaced with other things. The reason we have them there is because they are either left over and it doesn't matter that they are there, or they help us differentiate one word from another.
