Anyhow's; the extent of my knowledge on Martial Arts is limited. I only know MMA through the Parkour club I go to and even then the focus is solely on Parkour.

The post before, yeah it's bullshit. That much is obvious. I just wanted to correct that yes, you can learn kenjutsu in certain places that also teach karate, but it generally has nothing to do with it and is completely optional.

Well the class I went to taught us that. There was three sections of the lessons, take down, weapon, and regular karate. I really don't know what you call it, but I wasn't lying.

When I said I "learned" all that stuff, I didn't actually get a chance to practice it/learn it, but our teacher showed us how to eye gouge and all that stuff. We never had a chance to take a lesson it.

When I go to college or maybe after, I'd like to sign up for it again though.

Because it is common knowledge that the form you stated does not include such teachings. And while as Fenrir pointed out, there are situations where what you said is true. Your lack of naming of any of it properly as well as including fatal AND weapon based techniques in your form makes this highly implausible. Even the one where all you said is taught and follows that time frame (Krav Maga; maybe a few others but unless you can name it for now thats all we know there is), does not include actual weapon usage inside its teaching. But rather just counter and use like a standard knife.

Cool! Wish you good luck! and I'm thinking on star Kendô or something that uses weapons for fighting, since the palce where I go to train boxing is probably going to close in one or two months and also because I want to learn something that uses weapons!

Pretty much everything Josh said sums up why you're lying/possibly confused about what you did; however, in some areas of Muay Thai you learn how to use and disarm knives. Although it is completely dependent on the Gym/class, of course. Just so you know for future reference.

Fortunately too, I can easily laugh off pain, so defending against strikes is easy.

I obviously will if it's a controlled environment. I meant that outside of such an environment, I keep myself from hitting somebody unless they pose a threat to me. If somebody's just being an idiot, I'll talk sense into them. But if somebody is dangerous or if they've hit me first, I will hit them.

Learning to fight is for self-defense, not to beat up on people who are being stupid or the weak and such, no?

Jeez. In my karate dojo we do use Bo Staffs and wooden katana's for deflecting or take-downs. In the end, we don't actually use the weapons.
