Lily Ratbox Control (Edited for the 20th time)

Recommended Posts

The basis of the deck is using Giant Rat for getting out big hitters or removers, with Lily being the biggest contributor. Obviously it needs help. This is a real-life deck, so don't suggest something like Pot of Duality, though I do own 1 Solemn Warning (Which I don't think would work well in this deck) and some semi-expensive cards. Bolded cards I am considering removing.

+3 Debris Dragon
Seeing as I do not have Black Rose Dragon, Debris Dragon would be completely useless in this deck. And I don't even own Debris Dragons, either.

+1 IF Lily
Two is enough I've come to find. Any more and I get clogged with Lillies who will suicidally waste my Lifepoints.

+2 Rainbow Life
Have decided against this change because I am not worrying so much about life gain.

+2 Limit Reverse
Another good suggestion, though I would prefer to go at 1, not 2 on this.

-2 Muka
Want to keep this guy in here just because he's a major beatstick, is a level 5 (and I use level 3 Tuners), and can be Summoned easily through means of Giant Rat.

-2 Hammerhead
Will keep him unless I can find a better removal for the deck. Good for getting rid of Synchros or anything my opponent attacks it with, as well as defenders which Lily HATES.

-2 Lacooda
Yes, I have realized I need to do something with him. When he goes off he is really helpful, but I don't think he's been reliable enough to stay. Any suggestion for his replacement?

-1 Exiled Force
Same sort of thing as Hammerhead, basically.

-1 Counselor Lily
Probably will do this.

Its incredibly random, but it does look like it could work very effectivly... how do you come up with these things?
and with IFL how can you not be worried about Life gain? its one of the few ways to make sure to use her effect multiple times

Well, right now I'm working on different builds... It originally had a lot to do with life gain, and now the only thing left that increases my LPs is Golden Ladybug, which is much more effective in this build that Solemn Wishes. Especially since I end up forgetting to activate Wishes on my opponent's turn, thus missing out on a gain... Plus it was a dead draw a lot.

If you would like, I can break down my deck's decisions, but most of it is because I had these cards, and the build was originally built as a Draw/Life Gain deck.

Drain is a "meh" card for this deck, and compared to Compulsory or Chain it's a weak card. Above anything else this is meant for control and beatdown.

On another note, I'm thinking of getting rid of an Enraged Muka Muka, because I always seem to draw it, and when I do draw it it's completely useless to me. Any suggestions?
