I honestly like OTKs better than FTKs, since I can actually enjoy the duel, then get defeated in one turn in about a couple turns later. Just like how Cold Wave was a 1-trick pony, this card was too. It's better to ban a card that's old and useless in any other way than to limit/ban the other cards involved which have other uses. They didn't want to have to limit their components which aren't that bad on their own, so instead they killed their breaker. Just like Card of Safe Return and Manticore.
