Unfortunately, since it's effect occurs during the End Phase, its immediate activation doesn't do anything, unless it was meant to be worded that you can only activate it during the End Phase. The delayed activation doesn't have an immediate effect on the state of the game but it does have an immediate effect on the psyche of your opponent.
