A lot of metal bands use graphic images and lyrics for shock value; I personally prefer metal that has a more introspective, poetical nature.

im not really A METAL GUY plus i hate death metal (there a diffence form regular metal and DEATH METAL (death metal is way more distrubing trust me))

i go for those wierd and alternative groups they are so weird and different with the wierdest lyrics and sound and some songs have a more humor thing than music which is cool because you can listen to it an sing along and freak people out near you

-PRION touches on political and social problems

-The Faceless delves into the mysteries of space...aliens and s***

- Nile's lyrics revolve around ancient Egypt

-Kataklysm's lyrics revolve around stuff like politics, historical events and war

-Benighted's lyrics are more about Zombies...

-Disavowed is all about 'teh th30ree 0v evolushun'

-Martyr is all about the Philosophical shiz

-Quo Vadis is also in that same category

-The Contortionist is similar to The Faceless in terms of lyrics

-and Cephalic Carnage is all about the Marijuana, man...

Horrific, I can't believe you did'nt mention the cover art for the In Flames album Come Clarity, or the masterpiece on the front of Watains epic, satanistic wonder Lawless darkness. It's pure darkness.

I also like Gamma Ray covers for some reason.
