Declare 1 Monster Card name. If a card with the declared name is in your opponent's Deck, Special Summon it in Attack Position.

Well, in the anime, the opponent Special Summons it to their field. The way it's worded here sounds like YOU get it. Sartorius called Arcana Force 0- the Fool, which he had snuck into Jaden's deck, as part of a strategy to lock down his plays and effectively direct attack his LP constantly.

Wow. He had to cheat to win against a kid? That's pathetic.

Well, in that case this card isn't overpowered like that, but it could still be used to be an A-hole to the opponent. Against Monarchs pick Treeborn, then use Chain Disappearance. Good game.

Also, not related but I learned that Chain Disapperance makes your opponent remove all copies of monsters from the Extra Deck as well if the monster came from there o.O

"If you use “Chain Disappearance” when a Fusion Monster is Special Summoned, remove from play that Fusion Monster plus all copies of that Fusion Monster in the Extra Deck."

I seem to recall that he had somehow lost his ability to see and predict the future. And he had already lost once when he COULD see the future. As with all of those duels, it was supposed to be symbolic, and "justified" in that Jaden has the power to defy fate. With Arcana Force 0's weaknesses (0 ATK, can't be switched to defense, can't die in battle), plus a card that let him decide the outcomes of the coin tosses if the Fool was on the field, plus a card that locked Summons, it was supposed to be the perfect strategy. Plus the Fool represented Jaden or something.

I dunno. The episode was weird and the subs were kind of iffy.

It was another of The Fool's effect: the opponent could choose the outcome of coin flips.

Sowing of the Fool milled Jaden's deck, his Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler attacked for 4000, Tour of Doom locked out Jaden's summonings, and Arcana Force 0 - The Fool made a gateway to Jaden's life points and was near-impossible to get rid of.

The Fool did indeed represent Jaden.

I might have mentioned it in regards to Chain Destruction, but this would apply too for Chain Disappearance.

In Chain Disappearance's case, if they do not remove the proper amount available to them, you get to look at their Extra Deck to verify. You do not get to look at their Hand/Main Deck.

In Chain Destruction's case, the player who activates Chain Destruction gets to destroy the opponent's cards (unlike Chain Disappearance which says the "opponent" removes them from play). Therefore, activating Chain Destruction will allow that person to look at their Main Deck/Hand or Extra Deck to destroy the cards themselves. At least, that is how it works in the games, even if the opponent was able to destroy a total of 2 of them in their hand/deck, and had the one on the field.
