-Griffin
I tired 60 card ratbox highlander, 60 card zombie highlander, 60 card high monster beat highlander, 60 card chaos highlander, 60 card high monster beat chaos highlander, 60 card plant highlander, 60 card DARK highlander, 60 card machine highlander, 60 card Gravekeeper highlander, 60 card monarch highlander, 60 card synchro-heavy highlander, 60 card WATER highlander, and a few other builds that never really got through the first few duels. They occasionally showed a fun combo or something, but all performed worse than 60 card themeless highlander. 60 card themeless highlander is just inexplicably good, and so I'm going to work to perfect it in this topic. 1x Trago 1x Beast King B 1x L&DD 1x Gorz 1x Caius 1x Soulkius 1x Cydra 7 1x Arma Knight 1x Armored Bee 1x Zepharos 1x Breaker 1x DDWL 1x Debris 1x Dimensional Alch 1x DON ZALOOG 1x Doomcal 1x Lyla 1x Snipe Hunter 1x Rai-Oh 1x Gale 1x Trooper 1x Dandy 1x Birdman 1x Greenkappa 1x Injection Fairy 1x Juju 1x Guardna 1x Grand Mole 1x Sangan 1x Spirit Reaper 1x MJ#1 1x PSZ 1x Ryko 1x Fader 1x Cy Valley 1x Veiler 1x Glow-up 1x Wisel 1x Basses 32 3x Duality 1x Book 1x Dark Hole 1x Foolish 1x Forbidden Chalice 1x Forbidden Lance 1x M-Con 1x Reborn 1x MST 1x One-For-One 1x RotA 13 1x Bottomless 1x CotH 1x D-Prison 1x M-Drain 1x Mirror 1x Needle Ceiling 1x Starlight 1x Torrent 8 Some notes on new cards & things of note: Soulkius: asdf why can't this be DARK? This card is godly. Makes all sorts of fun plays. This Deck has 5 other monsters that it wants to dump, not including targets for Debris, Reborn, and L&DD. Also, this Deck's main strength is options, and this turns every pair of cards you have into an option. Good thing is good here. Snipe Hunter: Omitted from previous builds because I dislike the luck factor, but it's turned out to be simply invaluable. Getting around Stardust is a major plus. Greenkappa: With 60 cards and 1 MST, s/t removal isn't always around, so having something that can hit two in one shot is great. Also searchable by RotA, which makes my opponent misplay sometimes and not set enough, or leave a f/d Basses un-attacked. Wisel: First build since it's been released and testing great. It was dead-drawn once, but did stuff all other times. M-Con: I've got enough tuners that this seemed obvious. Magic Drain: Solemn tested badly. This has tested alright, but badly against GKs and Dragunities who always seem to have a second field to throw away. Needle Ceiling: Triggers my Wisel and Starlight, and I set enough that it manages to be a +2 often enough. Starlight: 60CTH was built 2 banlists ago and often has an empty backrow. That meant Heavy wasn't a threat. Dark Hole has since become a major threat, and Starlight is much better here now. Also Deck often throws a lot out, and stopping BRD can change games. Stuff I'd like to find room for: Level Eater Phantom of Chaos Creature Swap Treeborn Liberty At Last Trap Stun Enemy Controller Shrink <This will no doubt get more populated>
-Lightray Daedalus-
I found "Liberty at Last" to be SUPER FUN in my 45CRDTAH...it Trolololz at opponents, also Dekoicihi?
-Griffin
Liberty is possibly trolly, but I don't think Dekoichi would fit well. I need negs before I can consider doing anything.
Sunshine Jesse
- Dan Zaloog + Deep Diver? Never run a deck like this before so idk.
-Griffin
Diver's a cool idea, but it can really kill the pace. Most of the time, if I got its effect, I'd have to search a Reaper to set and hope stall works. Tomato would be better.
Sunshine Jesse
Oh. What about Vortex Trooper? /just shooting out random ideas
-Griffin
Nah, I'd usually rather discard than return. And this Deck often has to take enough hits as is for setup, wouldn't want to be dropping attack position 0 ATK monsters. Someone find space for things on the want list? Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
You could always drop a Forbidden Chalice, since it doesn't always work out as you want it to. To be honest, I'm not sure about Bloo-D in this deck. I wouldn't put it in.
-Griffin
Same. It worked better in older, more swarm-y versions. I'll take it off the list.
