Sephiroth_The_Legend
and what i'm saying is you don't necessarily have to lose your monster. you can stop it but you won't to activate this. also greatly depends on the monster.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
In a stretch, Mystical Cards of Light?
Hmm, I kinda like that one. But I don't think I completely understand. So baiscially you have to activate two of them, which locks down a further two of your S/T zones, in order to get a continual stream of extra cards, correct. Maybe of use, thanks.
If you go that route, you might as well use: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Guardian_Treasure Discard 5 cards, then draw 2 cards. During each of your Draw Phases, you can draw 1 more card in addition to your normal draw.
Works well when used first turn, could well get in somewhere.
how about a +3!!! Card of Last Will (its manga though, not sure if you want it)
That one is insane. Yeah trying to stay away from Manga. Thank you to all who have contributed, this has done brilliantly for me.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Guardian Treasure was also used for BS graveyard cards that would have otherwise been useless... And it was used first turn if I am remembering correctly. Also, I just saw Greed Grado, Spiritual Art - Greed, and Greed Pact (+1 to the opponent) @+ conversation: If your monster being destroyed was a - for a card, then wouldn't having it not be destroyed by a + to the card effect? By following that Scrap Iron Scarecrow becomes a + generator, Dimensional Prison and Sakuretsu become +1's each, and so on and so forth.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
you can't possibly compare Scrap Iron to this. in terms of raw advantage (numbers), it's a +3.
ascriptmaster
Well since I'm using GX rules (face up defence summoning) I can't use Morphing Jar... or can I...
Hayato set Des Koala in Episode 50. It seems as a monster can only be set in Defense if it has a Flip Effect.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Well, since this came back and that subject was brought up... in the anime, you COULD set monsters. However, apparently only monsters whose effects activated when they were flipped (with some exception). GK Guard was set, as well as Des Koala. Other than that, people didn't really have a need for setting. It would be too boring for the watcher to just see face-down cards the whole duel and not know what they look like/do.
