Really? Of course, it was Dragonite which evolved at lvl 55. Salamance evolves at lvl 50.

I always found Dragonite to be the silliest of the psudeo legendarys. Look at him, and compare him to the rest of the psudeo's. I like Tyranitar the most out of the psudeo legendarys, mainly because of it's ability and typing.

Yeah, he's both an underdog qua looks and stats compared to the others.

Was fighting Lorelei, and I was swept by a Lapras >.>

 

[spoiler=What exactly happened]-Sent out Flareon

-Lorelei sent out Dewgong

-Switched for Gengar

-Dewgong used Surf and took about half my HP

-Gengar uses Hypnosis and put it to sleep

-Spammed Dream Eater, got to full health, and almost killed Dewgong

-Dewgong failed and used Safeguard

-Dewgong uses a Full Restore >.>

-Gengar used Night Shade twice

-Dewgong used Ice Beam

-Gengar uses Hypnosis, but Safeguard blocks it >.>

-Dewgong knocks it out with a Surf >.<

-Sent out Blastoise

-Both used Surf. Blastoise was slightly damaged, and Dewgong moved to the yellow

-Safeguard wore off

-Withdraws Dewgong for Lapras

-Uses Hydro Cannon, but it’s Water Absorb sucks it up

-Lapras uses Confuse Ray

-Blastoise uses Bite and barely damages it >.>

-Switches for Pidgeot

-Lapras uses Body Slam, paralyzes Pidgeot, and moves it to the yellow

-Destroyed Pidgeot with Ice Beam

-Send out Exeggutor

-Destroyed Exeggutor with Ice Beam again

-Sent out Flareon

-Almost destroyed Flareon with Surf

-Uses Dig and does little to nothing

-Lapras kills Flareon with Ice Beam

-Sent out Golem

-Used Ice Beam and destroyed Golem when I was going to use Self Destruct >.>

-Sent out Blastoise

-Lapras confuses Blastoise with Confuse Ray

-Blastoise uses Bite

-Lapras uses Body Slam

-Blastoise uses Bite. Both are coming closer to the yellow

-Lapras uses Body Slam and gets it to the red

-Blastoise hurts itself in it’s confusion

-Lapras uses Ice Beam and knocks out Blastoise

-I lose

 

I can't believe it. I could understand Flareon, Exeggutor, Pidgeot and Golem falling to it, but I expected Gengar and Blastoise to do a bit better than that.

I hope you weren't using the Nuzlock rule.

 

Also, I can remember her being a pain in Fire Red. But then again... I actually haven't beaten her yet. Though this is probebly because my team sucks (Beedril, Blastoise, Persian, Rhyhorn, Arcanine, Fearow). Ok now that I see them again, only Beedril and Persian kinda suck. Still isn't quite the team to fight against Lorelei though.

I haven't got passed it either. I cannot catch that dang Pikachu and since the only Grass type I have is an Oddish I am VERY frustrated. I am planning evolving it to a Vileplume and then challenging her again. I HATE YOU HORSEA AND SHELLDER!!!
