Its evolution, but we're having more of a say in it than animals. That evolution has made us superior, and we can do what we want, with only the limits of the universe itself to stop us. Of course, we still aren't completely seperated. We still kill each other for what we want. Hell, we even still fight for partners. We are a brilliant species, but we are still stupid. But I love us. We are still children, if you think about it. Not a young child, more of a pre-teen. They are smart, but still act in ways a younger child could. Aside from how off topic and on topic that was... Here is my point. Humans are a brilliant species. I love us. People who say they hate the Human race are most likely not thinking about everything else. Also dark you said that we are the smartest beings but's thats only because we've evolved in a different direction. If you took us out of the equation, another creature would evolve just as we have. [/quote] Other than caring for offspring, I'm fairly sure it has been biological proven that a large majority of animals live in a metaphorical (or sometimes literal) dog-eat-dog world, and therefore can't care about others. Unless you would like to present proof contradicting this, I suggest you follow biological studies and not go by what you've "seen". Document it and write a report and send it to Harvard if you're so convinced humans don't care enough about others. Need I remind you of the countless times America and other large nations have helped countires terrorized by disaster? Does Haiti come to mind? Japan? Sri Lanka? I'd love to hear you say that despite that, we still don't care at all about humans. I simply said seen, as I have seen many cats and dogs going off and attempting to save others, in whatever capacity they are able to. Whether it be by barking to notify their fellow humans, or helping pull them to safety. That kind of thing. It doesn't happen much at all, but it happens if very rarely. [/quote] In your post, you said "some", which is absolutely fine because a lot of humans are selfish and don't care about helping others. However, by even posting such a statement, it was implied that you thought (even if it was a misunderstanding or a mispost) some animal species are [b]more caring[/b] than humans as a whole, which is wholly false. I understand that dogs and cats help people, but not nearly as much as people help people. If you are comparing a dog from the canine unit to someone like a retarded politician, it's obvious that the canine would be much more caring about others and helpful in general than a politician. However, it has been proven that humans are the most "caring" species on this planet, because we are one of the only species that have evolved past being naturally born to think "selfish".
