In terms of studies, studying such a drug is difficult to do. You can't produce a very accurate study anywhere, particularly at a University as a large number of students smoke it. That being said, I do not find much of a problem with Alcohol as long as it's controlled (though I WILL NOT EVER use it). However, I have a rather extreme hate for this plant that MANY people are familiar with. I'm going to therapy to manage it already, which hasn't been going well. Have you EVER been actually high off of Cannabis in your life? It doesn't make you hallucinate, it doesn't make you enraged, it doesn't produce physical dependency or kill braincells, I'm really failing to see where it's so mind altering, unless you find that taking something that makes food taste better, makes music sound better, makes the times you have with your friends more fun, makes sex better, etc. Mind altering in a bad way. Sure, maybe you've had bad personal experiences, but we both know that Alcohol is much more detrimental in every way to society as whole than Marijuana. You say it might as well kill, well, Alcohol does kill, and Alcohol ruins many more lives than Weed does. Ever met an angry pothead? I haven't. Ever seen someone drunk get violent and beat their children? I have. Ever met a marijuana user who rails on someone in a bad way? I haven't. Ever met an alcoholic who likes to verbally abuse the people who make him mad? I have. You know what my girlfriend's drunken mother told her? That she wished she was aborted. The worst thing I've ever heard a person say that was high on Marijuana was that our government sucks, and we weren't even talking about weed. Period. People of YCM don't seem to realize you don't need to smoke to get high. Make Marijuana hot tea, Space Cakes, Marijuana infused sauce for different foods, vaporize it, etc. The most harm you can do with Marijuana is when you smoke it.
