Tronta
1 jar 1 worm 2 rat 2 diver 1 sangan 3 ad 10 3 eclipse 3 taiyou 1 moon 2 darkness 1 shallow 1 foolish 3 hand dest 2 dwd 1 card dest 3 upstart 2 void 2 mse 2 mallet 1 feather 2 sarco 1 trunade 30 40 side 3 ddburial 2 mst 1 twister 3 prohibition 3 decree 3 lava golem still kickin around for some reason. just kind of winging it on the side. dropped dwd and rat to 2, sided the ddburial, dropped feather to one. plugged 2 sarco and 2 voids. dont know how much better that will be. if at all. Sunshine Jesse
Personally, I'd main Prohibition, but that's just because I main Veiler @ 2 or 3 in everything.
Brandon Michael Geren
Rat is terrible. Run Divers. If you must use Rat, run 1. Worm, Shallow, Sarco, and Darkness are unnecessary. Run 3 Feather, 3 Void, and 3 DWD.
Tronta
that's a pretty dramatic flip from the last deck i saw you make. granted i havent been here in ages. worm is unnecessary? seriously? and shallow as well? you're saying the deck should look like this? 1 jar 3 diver 1 sangan 3 ad 7 3 eclipse 3 taiyou 1 moon 3 hand dest 3 dwd 1 card dest 3 upstart 3 void 2 mse 3 mallet 3 feather 1 trunade 29 35 and what goes in the other 5 spots? and how does it.. win? it looks like it would be increasingly hard to get deck advantage... Brandon Michael Geren
There are 8 monsters in the build you posted. :/ Your build, copypasta'd and cards added. 8 1 jar 3 diver 1 sangan 3 ad 32 3 eclipse 3 taiyou 1 moon 3 hand dest 3 dwd 1 card dest 3 upstart 3 void 2 mse 3 mallet 3 feather 1 trunade 1 foolish 2 duality/spell reproduction/maybe one of the cards i told you to take out earlier if you have to I use 1 Duality because it's really good, I have access to only the one, and it's shiny. Duality increases the consistency so much. Paul Cooper couldn't have topped if he hadn't used Duality. If he'd used the Needle Worm variant, he would've lost. Warning and Oppression and all that bullshit. Anyway, you win by speeding through the deck to get Card Destruction (you could argue that it could end up at the bottom of the deck and you'd be f***ed, but Mallet helps) then re-using it. You stop flipping Morphing Jar quickly. If you want, I can show you on YVD. PM me if you're interested.
Tronta
well without shallow a duality is a requirement. so reusing card dest? ah. i see... makes sense, actually. i'll give it a shot. god damn duality though. way to ruin the budget build aspect. Skribbletron
why no Dark Mirror Force with your eclipses? attack. DMF, Chain eclipse.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
DD Burial? you mean Burial from a D.D ? its limited man. you'll have to neg 2 copies from side.
Brandon Michael Geren
No. He should neg all of them. BfaDD is s*** here. Since you're not flipping Needle Worm, you aren't flipping much at all. You only need 4 flip faceup cards, so I often have an A/D Changer in grave when I win and I often discard Taiyous. also decree and lava golem are bad. the only traps that can hurt you any more are magic drain, d.d. trap hole, and solemn judgment. Also, you don't NEED duality but it works really well.
THE GOD OF OBELISK
You win with both Card Destruction and Book of Eclipse.
Tronta
i forgot ddburial was limited. why do idiot meta decks ruin all the good cards? one might still be worth siding. lava golem was just something i saw people doing as generic monster removal. it seemed funny. and if they drop something early that stops me from being the very best like no one ever was, i'd have more options, at least. i suppose books can handle most of that, though. so card dest abuse huh? i suppose the side needs mst, twister, etc to stop a prohibition. with a trunade mained and a one turn game, i can see how traps are pretty who-caresish, unless they're like solemns. and that's what the sidedeck is for, i suppose. does this deck maintain advantage well? it seems like a lot of minusing with only jar replenishing it. would shells/dragons help there? Brandon Michael Geren
It maintains advantage really well. Seriously, if you have any questions, I can show you on YVD. Solemn Judgment, Veiler, and Magic Drain are the only things that can stop you. Veiler is easy to stop by chaining a Book.
Tronta
i'll play around with it. and bother you if i cant get the hang of it. it's a pretty different dynamic from what i'm used to.now here's a question: serial spell? i guess it only really works with card dest. not enough to make it sexy. if it worked with eclipse it might be worth while.. Brandon Michael Geren
That actually sounds good.
Tronta
the normal spell thing really hurts it, imo. but it does double card dest. i think it's worth testing, at least. and this thing is actually doing pretty consistent. although i'm assuming the divers go off a lot more than i should.
