O.o if it said level 4 and lower it wound be Oped but level 3 is a nice way to restrict as to that monster, as it show that it's "easy' to take controls of "weaklings" although this is a useful method of taking your opponent's monster away from exceed summon but it is a bit slow as your opponent can exceed immediately when they have 2 of level 3 monsters appeared in a turn, unless there are card support that can delay exceed summoning then it will be on extreme advantage then Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Death Knight Posted April 15, 2011 Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 that certainly true but my concern is like for exceed summon of or synchro summon with level 3 monsters they usually do either of the summoning right after they come out on the field by then, but then again there are levle 3 monsters with defending method like marshmallon, spirit reaper and the one with twice per turn that it is not destroyed too. this is usually effective against those cards but not one like captain and junk, we need cards that delay the summoning of exceed and synchro though there is a card for synchro but nor exceed. opp: i summon captain with junk and i'll snycho summon you: I activate Discord! Opp: then I'll exceed summon then! you: noo! players who use both exceed and synchro can get out of that situation which is obvious but if there 1 more card that is like Discord for Exceed then it will temporarily trap your opponent enough for you to do your own exceed summonings Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They are simply unaffected by spells, traps, monster card effects, and game mechanics that involve levels, but their rank can be converted to give them a level.
