Mainsprings are an archetype from GENF (Generation Force), the first pack of the Zexal series, coming after EXVC (Extreme Victory) which is the last 5Ds pack and comes out early May. Plus... Photon's are science based... This is a nerd's card game... Duh Photons are apparently a LIGHT Attribute archtype with a good number of Dragon's... and potentially a Field Spell... not the best into so far, but they get the cover card... and hopefully, unlike with Generation Force, it'll be good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mainspring Armored Zenmesiter and Vylon Disigma are the main selling points, then Mainspring archtype... and maybe a few tech cards for other decks I promise Photon Shockwave will be more incredible I thought the same thing about the 2nd 5Ds pack and was right, lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think GENF brought us the first taste of Exceed monsters and their potential. I'm happy with GENF's contribution. Just a little bit until the concept REALLY takes off. [/quote] Yes, they did, but they didn't give us enough of a taste... plus... it looks like Zenmeister. Vylon Disigma and Protector could be some of the best Exceeds... but its just not enough... by the second pack you we got much more of a way to control synchros there will probably be monsters in the 2nd booster that are type, attribute or archtype specific AND probably monsters which have effects as Exceed Materials OR help other Exceed Monsters...
