Weird body shape, isn't?
The french name is Saint Aurora. That with the golden armor makes me think of Camus. But the Saints in the french dub were called Chevalier. That would be like released a card in USA named Mr. Satan.
I like it. Tribute it and HAD for NEPTUNE...

Would make no sense :/

Tell that to King Tiger Wanghu who blows himself up when he is Normal/Special Summoned with 1400 or less ATK.

Unless Aurora Paragon states "While this card is face-up on the field, when a monster is Normal Summoned, destroy this card.", I think it would have to be ruled like King Tiger Wanghu.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Wanghu kills itself if its own ATK is 1400 or less when Summoned? Why?

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't actually have Aurora kill itself.

King Tiger Wanghu's timing is "When a monster is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned".

Why wouldn't it make any sense? You don't complain about other effects which activate when a monster is "Normal or Special Summoned" like Gadgets and Monarchs. Why would King Tiger Wanghu be any different? Saying "This card" and "A card" shouldn't be different in any way as "This card" IS "a card" as well.

It should be the same for Aurora Paragon with its current wording. It itself cannot be Normal Summoned or it will destroy itself. That's how I see it, though it would be a silly card if ruled that way.

There are probably some examples out there, as there are many effects that trigger to monsters being Summoned, who knows if King Tiger Wanghu is some special case, or if its supposed to happen this way o.o;

Edit: Then again, Genex Ally Crusher doesn't work when it itself is Normal Summoned either, though its trigger seems to imply "other monsters" rather than itself xD lol "Well, Genex Ally Crusher has the same attribute as itself, so yeah, DESTROY!"

WTF is this? It contradicts itself.

Its only my guess. My wording means nothing to actual rulings that are going to be handed out. It just seems like a similar event to something King Tiger Wanghu would do.

Well, Aurora says "When a monster is Normal Summoned, destroy this card". Much like how Tech Genus Hyper Librarian or Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower don't count themselves, even though they could be Synchro/Special Summoned, I don't think it'll count itself.

Wanghu says "destroy all monsters with 1400 ATK or less that are Normal or Special Summoned".

The main difference seems to be Wanghu doesn't have a timing trigger, and just blasts monsters that fit the bill indiscriminately. Granted, Wanghu also is an older card (PGD) and a lot of older cards have inconsistent wordings.

Both "Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower" and "Tech Genus Hyper Librarian" both say "Each Time" as their trigger, rather than "When". Who knows, those could be different in some odd Yugioh way.

I'll only keep it in mind as a weird possibility that Aurora Paragon MIGHT work that way and become a very ironic card within itself o.x King Tiger Wanghu might just be Special.
