Empty Jar VS Dark World

Recommended Posts

Well Thing is if Darkworld go First and Empty Jar Go Second the game is just a total Laugh...

But if Darkworld do Second then DarkWorld will most likely win, Goldd will destroy MJ and then Silva will mess up the Empty Jar's Hand supremely...
If the Empty jar is running Needle Worm then this changes entirely the outcome...

I personally believe the DarkWorld will most likely win no matter what... but that might just be my opinion...

do you guys have like a turn by turn of what happened?

turn one he goes first, sets and ends. I go, bring out Sangan through Tour Guide, Klavier thinks I'm playing D Worlds. he attacks Sangan, I search M Jar, next turn I creature Swap M Jar and attack it, it gets destroyed, MP2 I revive it with Shallow Grave, flip it again A/D Changer, a whole bunch of Grapha's and Goldds blow up almost my entire field, then I revive again, Book of Tayou, and from there Klavier runs out of Dark Worlds.
Okay, broww being manditory doesn't seem good, I guess that just leads to more milling... what about snow? is it manditory? He should've been able to kill morphing jar atleast 5 times though...
I took out most of his Dark Worlds in one flip, meaning he can't activate their effects in portions so that he can constantly destroy MJar, he has to use all his D Worlds at once. That means he has to destroy my backrow, some other monsters I have on the field like Celri, the Snow I stole, stuff like that. Snow made it worse for him because he had to search for Dark World cards, that would all be activated at once.

Empty Jar decks tend to run a ton of revival cards due to Jar's limitation so I never thought of Goldd as too big a problem. If I have a good backrow and materials for the OTK at hand (excuse the pun) then it's close to certain I'll win.

I see it as a bit of an Emperor's New Clothes thing - the match-up honestly is not as bad as people make it out to be.
