Sweetie Belle
So, the market near my house has a wing bar, and when I went there, I eat a little piece of popcorn chicken while I'm putting it in a bag to pay for. My girlfriend says that's stealing, but I say it's sampling. Same thing can apply for grapes. Discuss.

Yang Xiao-Long
As long as it's paid for at the end of shopping, it's fine; people do it in Korea all the time.

J-Max
Samples are just that, Samples. If they are not a Sample laid out then it is classed as stealing usnless you are taking the same item to the Checkout. One thing I used to do though, because the Supermarket people knew me really well, they allowed me to often take a Bottle of Drink from the shelf and drink it while Shopping then pay for the Bottle at the Checkout. I get hot really easy so i'm grateful for that.
Mehmani
I've eaten an entire baguette in Sainsbury's and then scanned the empty packaging. No employees complaining, so it's fine.
Maghion Syaoran Light
I don't see anything wrong with sampling. You would want to know if its worth buying before buying. You are taking a wing out for a test drive.
Sprite3G
I do that all the time. You're gonna buy it anyway so i don't see what's wrong with it.

Marisa Kirisame-ze
My high school neighbors our communities' most popular market, so after school, a lot of us from that school just walks on over there to get a bite to eat. Or shop. It's fun after school with friends~ We hang mostly in the drinks department and the yogurt/frozen desert department. I don't know why. Qu@ke
steal (stl) v. stole (stl), sto·len (stln), steal·ing, steals v.tr. 1. To take (the property of another) without right or permission. By definition, yes, you are stealing. However, if you simply convince yourself that you put one less in the bag so that you in fact did pay for it...well, let's just say this conversation never happened *backs into the shadows*
