Would decks that abused this engine be as fast as they would if both of them got Axed in numbers? Do they have THAT much impact in the current meta that their limiting would affect it in general...? [/quote] The argument is valid because even with 1 Librarian, you can still draw shitload of cards etc. Librarian is in the same league with Brionac and such when it comes to the 3 - 0 argument. I dunno, If Formula was Limited, then using Glow-Up and two Tokens could only bring you 1 Formula and TG Dragonfly. Then either make Armory, or GACHI GACHI GANTETSU! If both were limited, I'd be devestated. As they are my favorite Synchros. I even have an attack name for both of them. Royal Knowledge Flare (inb4someonesuspectstouhoureference)! And Formula's Attack: Racecar is Racecar backwards! (Then the opponent loses 200 Life Points from the trivial fact that confused them) I can think of other things, but my head hurts thinking of the names for their attacks. Special a Doppel from hand. Synch with Junk and Doppel for Librarian. Synch with Grow-Up and Doppel Token. -DRAW 2 FROM FORMULA AND LIBRARIAN- Synch into Drill using remaining Token and QuickDraw. -DRAW 1- Mill to revive Grow-Up. Use Level Eater on the Drill/Librarian. Synch into another Formula. -DRAW 2- Synch into Quasar. Win. Total draw: 5 Desynchro for additional draws using Formulas. The above is a decent run of Librarians. Thats some crazy stuff, but i cant help but think you can only pull that off by stacking your deck (for both situations). Seems kind of careless to rely on luck. Hell, if your afraid of not having the DDR you can also run Arms Hole to search them since everything done was special summons (unless I'm mistaken). Over all it is not hard to get those two in an opening hand or draw into them in the first couple of turns. On a random note, the guy used MTG cards as place holders. poopybuttoxes Posted June 1, 2011 Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 In the video it seemed like the first monster he summoned with DDR was def a must to pull off the strategy, i couldnt tell what it was, but also he needed sarcophagus to get it removed. If he drew those cards that were problematic as he said in the video i dont think he could pull it off, or even get close to winning for that matter. If you open with it, a swap frog and a ronintoadin/ frog/ fishborg, you can Tribute Summon it and explode. btw, don't forget that he's running 3 upstart and some hand destructions and moray of greed, iirc.
