evilfusion Posted June 2, 2011 Report Share Posted June 2, 2011 It can't negate Special Summons produced by the resolution of effects, such as Mystic Tomato, Infernity Launcher, etc, and ONLY works on Special Summons. [/quote] Summon Limit and this do completely different things. Summon Limit restricts the number of Summons that can be done a Turn, while this negates a Special Summon and destroys the monster. If Summon Limit negated Summons, then we could compare them. As it is, Summon Limit is more effective in stopping Synchro/Special Spam, but that's because it imposes a limit, while this can kill a Synchro Summon or a Cyber Dragon, but not much else.
