okay, im really happy with how this pic turned out :)
im gonna add it to my (newly formed) image archive haha...

so here it is, tell me what you think:

[spoiler=Effect] You can Special Summon this card by removing 5 Spell Counters from face-up cards you control. Whenever a Spell card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card (max. 3). When this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card instead. [/spoiler]

Not bad card. Just activate a bunch of spells to spellbinding sorcerer and get it to like 5 and you can keep it up for a long time. The thing is i can just attack it with say a summoned skull and its destroyed. unless you put it in def with its 2550. goes well with spellcaster decks 9/10

So I got a question about the effect. How many Spell Counters can this card have? (max.?)

There are a couple of OCG errors so will fix that.

[u][b]OCG Fix:[/b][/u]
You can Special Summon this card from your hand by removing 5 Spell Counters from face-up cards you control. When a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card
[b](max?)[/b]. If this card would be destroyed by a Monster Card's effect, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to negate the destruction of this card.

The bold part on the OCG fix is something you should add unless this card can have an unlimited supply of Spell Counters.

Overall good job, 8/10.

You can assume it can have unlimited. Which is good because the few cards that have a (max) in the game only have it because of balance issues (Breaker the Magical Warrior.)





Although my complain here is, other than the self-protection and the self-Special Summon, there is not much else this card does. I'd like it more if it gained at least 100 ATK for each Spell Counter on it.
Self-protection is limited to itself. Even if it can protect multiple times per turn it is somewhat situational I'd say.
Also, the Spell Counters payed also might be iffy. Endymion costs 6 but he has 2700. He gets back a Spell Card. And he can revive himself and not only from the hand.
Even if its only Spell Counters from the Citadel, because if I had 5 Spell Counters to pay they would be from the Citadel anyways, but I'd rather Tribute Summon it sometimes.

I have an idea! Maybe making it a Spell Counter producer in some way =0 or, or... I think I'm getting ideas for Counter-related cards right now.... *leaves briefly*

From the tittle, I thought it was going to be more or less like Spellbinding Circle for some reason xD

i thought the effect that allowed him to not die from card effects kinda gave him his usefulness, and ragnarok says its too OP.....maybe ill just add a 3 counter limit, thatd work right?

Actually. I wrote that last comment of mine thinking it was only protected from Effect Monster's Effects that destroy. Then I kinda, edited that post but I probably left some remains from my previous opinion somewhere in there.

Just scratch what I said.
Its really ok. You don't need to give it a limit to its Spell Counters or anything.

It having 2300 ATK means your opponent can fairly easily get over it. So you will be using it as a temporal wall only.
Then it needs Spell Counters to run. So he is not splashable into just any Deck. Making it balanced.
Third reason. With the use of the Extra Deck and other card effects nowadays. There are a lot of way of getting rid of it without destroying.
Fourth: It must remove the Spell Counters from itself rather than any card on the field with Spell Counters. Making it fairly limited on the number of times it can be saved.
If you give it too many Spell Counters, you might be using too many resources.

You'll probably destroy some small monster the turn it is Summoned. Then use it as a wall for 1 or 2 turns at most. Lastly use it as a Synchro Material, Fusion Material, or Tribute (or maybe even an Xyz Summon)

Card is ok as is (and random Red Dragon Archfiend attacking this in Defense Position will kill it twice per attack xD )

lol, i already changed it xD
gave it 2400 atk and a 2 spell counter limit....
