Yard Saling!

In England we have Car Boot sales. Went to one yesterday and picked up a Trance CD, a Mega Drive RGB Scart cable that didn't work (30p hardly a loss), a jar of home made chutney which I'm yet to try and a decent looking USB gamepad.

Bootsales are ace =D. I made £35 at one once...used it to pay off what I owed my parents. Sold quite a few random Pokemon cards and Pokemon stuff I have. Debating what to do with my Pokemon cards, probably ebay instead of a carboot sale.

Yard Sailing?!

*Looks at Spelling* Aww. So close.

Well, you look through junk for something actually worth the Money, like an original GBC for my Pokemon Yellow that I cannot use, with a Copy of Pokemon Red and Silver. That would be epic.

I once found an old 1st version gameboy, yes the old grey one, the man was also selling gameboy colors among other things. I bought a copy of majora's mask but it looks weird, it doesn't have the label and just ha majora's mask written on it in black sharpy; there was only one file on it though, BEN, so I can just delete and make mine =D

Why in the flying hell would it be illegal? (Out of curiosity, where do you live?)

Texas
And it's illegal to host one in the neighborhood. YOu have to go to a certain area to be allowed to do one. It's basically like a giant flea market, except with more junk.

I have never ONCE got anything good from a yard sale. Then again...it was my mom's money...so eh.

Also, I don't like Ebay much. A relative of mine went on Ebay and bought all three God cards. Top dollar and everything. When he opened the package, he found three pieces of paper with poor drawings of the cards on them. -_-

No, he read the sales tag and stuff. He bought cards from Ebay before. The guy who jipped knew what he was doing.

And that's why yard sales are actually safer than Ebay. Sure, you still get stuff that may or may not work from yard sales, but at least you're not spending a lot of cash for a item and get scammed, like many people do on Ebay.
