It's YCM. The maturity level is at that of a 1st grader.

Yes, that includes me.
It has 2nd grade maturity levels also, but those are rare XP I'm probably in the 1st grader class.

Because most of us act very immature, so Miki isn't alone on this site.

And that comment nor this comment was meant to sound snide at all.

It rather is disrespectful to insult the maturity of a large group of people when you've spoken to a meager percentage of it.
In addition, I could tell you don't know what maturity truly is.

Just saying, though. When somebody condescends a large group by calling them all immature, including oneself, then it is because that person doesn't understand what they were saying.

Or, could you define maturity?

No, Miror B. has a point. The majority of members on this site are fairly immature. Using big words incorrectly and acting smart doesn't make you mature, just sayin'.
You gotta realize that there are some people who like to use big words just because they like to use them.

And @ Hina: I was probably wrong to generalize, it's just that everywhere I go on the forum I usually find a pointless arguement with people who seem to be raging everywhere. That's what makes me feel that way.

The majority of people here are not raging, actually. A decent portion of the people are more pompous than raging, I think.
Very well.

Considering the majority of the people who joined this forum are either currently inactive or never posted, NOBODY has taken to a "large" percentage of the people on this forum. Of the active ones, however, and of the ones that Miror B. has come into contact with, he is perfectly right in saying that the large majority of YCMembers are immature.

Maturity doesn't define whether someone knows what they are saying. Miror B. has judged YCM society for himself, and has came to the conclusion that the majority of the people he has met on this forum are wholly immature. Reflecting that back on himself, he also considers himself immature by the same criteria. Your argument against his claim doesn't make any sense, because you are referring to statements that aren't valid in this discussion.

Also, if you consider maturity objective, why don't you post a definition of it? Maturity is obviously subjective, so your argument makes even less sense.

Methinks someone is a little sore that they are being called immature by someone who considers himself immature.

You don't use big words nor do you act smart, and people still find you immature.
PLOT TWIST.

Biological age, 14.

Physical age, probably 16-17.

Same.

I feel old. May be because of my knowledge in nerdraging is superior and I win almost every competitonable conversation. Or because I suck.

The part about a majority of members being immature was purely opinion, which is why I said "I think," when I said I thought that the people were more pompous than raging.
Simply generalizing and implying "you're in the first/second grade, so you're definitely at this level of mental maturity," is obviously foolishly foolish in itself. Many people are immature, but people like to jump onto the bandwagon to, you know, feel better about themselves. Is your opinion the same as his? That most people here are immature?

Why don't you at least define your subjective maturity? Somebody mature should be able to know what they're saying. The actual definition of maturity is the state of full development, of course. Making reference to the mental maturity this is about, it would take mental maturity to at least know the message you're conveying, or else that's just foolishness spewing out of that mouth/keyboard/et cetera.

Anyways, about the bolded, now. Somebody immature has no right to judge other people on their maturity level, really. Somebody truly mature can at least base their definition of maturity off of themselves. If he doesn't know what maturity is, which he claimed, then how could he tell somebody else they were immature?

I'm not sore about him, really. Just wondering why everybody claims such a large amount of the people here are immature if they aren't for realz.
If I do get sore, could you give me some Polysporin, lurve?

Unless of course, this was all just a vile ruse by him, and he was resorting to self-deprecating humor for a few laughs and the sort.

Yes, I hold the opinion that the majority of people I have talked to on this forum are immature. And I see nothing wrong at all with holding such an opinion when the aforementioned people prove it to all of us time and time again. Surely you don't believe the majority of YCMembers are mature, do you? Because if you think that, I feel extremely sorry for your ignorance. Maybe we have different definitions of maturity, sure, but unless you are using the literal definition of "physical maturity", I doubt any definition would prove sufficient to consider the majority of YCM as "mature". I'm not saying the forum as a whole is retarded or lacks a sufficient amount of intelligence, but there is a huge void in terms of the maturity level, and it's pretty blatantly obvious.

Why don't you at least define your subjective maturity? Somebody mature should be able to know what they're saying. The actual definition of maturity is the state of full development, of course. Someone who considers themselve immature by their own definition can absolutely gague another person's maturity. I forgot who we were talking about already, but if he claimed himself to be immature, he could say with absolute certainty that anyone he considered at or below his subjective maturity level was also, by extension, immature. It doesn't take a mature person to gague maturity, and oftentimes mature people are worse at gauging maturity because they are overly critical. If I'm amazing at something, I would want you to be at least at my par or would write you off as useless, and I'm sure all of us work like that.

If he claimed to not know what maturity is, he should have never said that the majority of the forum was maturity. Obviously he was using his own subjective definition of maturity and backed down from an argument when questioned because he was oddly intimidated by you.

I'm not sore about him, really. Just wondering why everybody claims such a large amount of the people here are immature if they aren't for realz.

"if they aren't for realz"

Were you referring to the fact that you don't think the majority of people here are immature, or were you referring to the fact that someone claiming the majority is immature could be trolling?

I'D LOVE TO GET YOU SOME MEDICINE, BUT MY DRUG MONEY MAGICALLY DISAPPEARED. D:<
