I set one face-down. Opponent goes second and sets one face-down and two spells/traps. My second turn, I activate Giant Trunade. I then activate A Legendary Ocean. I dueled this guy and he activated Double Summon and ended his turn. On his next turn he tried to normal summon twice because he thought he could use the effect of 1 Double Summon once per turn for the entire duel. The reality is you can activate more than one in a turn but like it says on the card, you can only gain this effect once per turn. It's on the turn you activate it. That part is obvious with this part of the effect: You can Normal Summon 1 additional time this turn. And as you said: You can only gain this effect once per turn. I used Bottemless Trap Hole on a normal summon. What does he do? Normal summon again. I jabronied slapped him. Second thing he did? Assumed I was a complete noob who had no idea how to duel and proceeded to do cheats thinking I wouldn't catch them. Third? Got pisssed when I used Solemn Warning on his spell that would destroy four of his crystal beasts, clear the field, and special summon a monster. Fourth? Throughout the whole duel he kept yelling at me to hurry up. One turn he was like, "Go already!" and I was like, "Hang on, I'm reading." His response? "What? You don't even know how your cards work?" I'm reading the damn spell you threw down before you ended you damn twat! >.< Fifth thing? He rage quitted when I summoned Mobius and took out two of his spells leaving me with enough fire power to take his life points down to 300...AFTER he used Draining shield TWICE on a 2500 attack Warrior of Atlantis...and he was calling me noobish the whole time. >.> Oh...and sixth...he drew a card from his deck during my turn. Yeah, that was like the only mistake you did. :< But other than that, you did quite well. ^^ For those who care, my turns went like this: TURN 1: Summon Deep Sea Diva. Activate effect. Special Summon Mermaid Archer. Activate effect. Activate A Legendary Ocean. Set one face-down. End. (I went first) Carn proceeded to try and destroy Mermaid. Mermaid's effect saved her and Deep Sea Diva was destroyed instead. TURN 2: Tribute Mermaid Archer for Levia-Dragon - Daedalus. Activate effect and clear the field. Remove Deep Sea Diva and Mermaid Archer from play to Special Summon Fenrir. Attack directly dealing 4000 damage. End. Carn set a face-down and ended. TURN 3: I tributed Fenrir to Summon Mobius the Frost Monarch. Activated his effect and cleared field. Attacked directly and won. :< Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
