Wow. Just dueled a complete noob. He said "XX-Sabers" and "X-Sabers" were two totally different archetypes and that Darksoul couldn't target Faultroll. He also said Trap Eater is a great card because it can be chained to any trap -_-

Worst part is, I tried explaining that he was COMPLETELY wrong. But, typical noob, was stubborn. Just like religious freaks.

I had a fairly amusing duel.

Early on, I play Shura and use Royal Oppression when he tries to use Genex Ally Birdman + Reborn Tengu. Later, he Books Shura and attacks with Tengu, to which I Mirror Force.

He tries to bring out another Tengu.

Me: Oppress it.

Him: Can't.

Me: Why's that?

Him: Can't Oppress during Damage Calculation.

Me: It's not Damage Calculation when Mirror Force is used.

Him: Suck my d*ck. *quits*

Lesson: Royal Oppression is a b*tch

sometimes I misclick and stuff for example send a card to the graveyard instead of setting. It gets really annoying, but usually no big deal. One person clicked A.S.S. because I told them mystical space typhoon doesn't negate and you can only activate scrap iron scare-crow once per turn.

I draw. Set 5. Than Activate Rota.

Guy says since you set Rota, you can't activate it that turn. I'm like "o___o?"

He quits. xD

lol fail. I think he thought it was a quick spell possibly???

EDIT: I just got a.s.s. becaused I used pot of duality.

I wonder how this topic got to 17-

Oh yea, because DN is apparently a tardy version of Wc08's wi-

.......

I SHOULD JOIN! =D

Oh, and I wonder how many terrible/illegal plays one can get away with, with such oblivious Opponents. O,o

Ok, now that's just sad.

TBH, half the time I question that rule myself.

As for some reason only Quick-Play Spells end up with the "Derrr, its a trap" gimmick, but any other Spell can be set then activated.

....Still, that's what contributes to the whole 'mind-game' aspect.

Yeah...the guy did that...and I was like, "What the hell?!?!" And he goes, "It's in the new rules. You can quick play from your hand." And the tournament judge said yes. My response?

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D:

I should probably buy a copy of the new rules...the old ones aren't helping me much! >.<

But you don't get multiple attacks-

You only get to re-do your attack if a replay happens, in which a change in the number of monsters on the field happens.

Like if you attack -> They flip Ultimate Offering and Summon something -> Replay occurs -> You can select a new attack target or chose not to have that monster attack this turn.

The Judge said yes?

Are you f***ing kidding me?

I had two monsters on the field, A Legendary Ocean, and Tornado Wall. He had ONE monster that could attack twice. He attacks one monster and destroys it. Then activates Mystical Space Typhoon to take out A Legendary Ocean (which also takes out Tornado Wall). Then attacks my other monster. This doesn't seem right to me!!! D: Especially since I was told Quick Play spells had to be on the field for ONE turn before being used. :<

Oh, that works and is legal.

No, Quick Plays can be activated from the hand during the user's turn, any time from the Draw Phase to the End Phase. However, if they are Set, you cannot activate them for that turn, the same as Trap Cards.

You worded your first post as if activating a Quick Play from the hand allowed an additional attack.
