A kid was winding me up last week and I told him that he was adopted and that his junkie parents hated him. But generally I either admit to it immediately or deny it completely (depending on my current mood). I can stop caring what people think or become dangerously paranoid and not even think certain thoughts out of the fear that someone might be able to read my mind.
