You can special summon this monster from from your hand, deck, or graveyard if you have 1500 or less life points. When this card is summoned this way place 5 fate counters on it. Add one fate counter every time you draw a card. Once per turn by removing 1 fate counter to get one card in your deck and add it to your hand or special summon one monster from the graveyard. When this card has all 5 fate counters you may remove them all and flip a coin. if you call correctly you win, if not you lose.

It's bad. The fact that it's only useful when you Summon it via it's effect makes it too situational, a dead draw and other things I cannot say from the top of my head.

The Fate Counter removal effects on the other hand are good, but again, the fact that it only gets counters when it's Summoned via its effect hinders its capabilities.

Last effect is too much of a gamble to be any use to you. And even if you manage to Summon this via its effect, why would you waste 5 Fate Counters on a effect that can easily backfire when you can just use the Fate Counters on the Deck searching effect or the SS from Grave effect?

thanks for the reply. i meant for the lats effect to be like time wizard with stakes. its meant to be more of a last resort effect. but what u say is true and changes will be made.also if provide defense until you can get some counters from drawing.

OCG: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, deck, or graveyard if you have 1500 or less life points. If this card is summoned in this way, place 5 Fate counters on this card. Add 1 Fate counter to this card every time you draw a card. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Fate counter from this card to select 1 card in your deck and add it to your hand, or to Special Summon 1 monster in (either player's) graveyard to your field. If this card has 5 or more Fate counters, you can remove them all to toss a coin and call heads or tails. If you call it correctly, you win. If not, you lose.

At first, it seems like a dead card. If your life points are that low, chances are you won't last much longer. And no sane person would risk the last effect. However, it has much more potential that that. Once it is summoned, it can summon more monsters to the field at relatively no cost. It has strong ATK and DEF, so it can put up a fight. And it's final effect? That is the ultimate out-of-the blue win. If you have 1500 or less life points, chances are you won't win. But with this, everything is even and life points no longer matter. It doesn't hurt that coin tosses can be partially controlled, the effect is in no way it's only value, and there are cards that let you redo a coin toss. All in all, this card kicks butt.
