Numbers, Numbers, NUMBERS!

After the Numbers monsters came out, I had the idea to create a new kind of card related to Numbers: Field spells.

See, I remembered the idea of infinite possible futures, and drew a connection to the Numbers cards. Then I kept drawing, and came up with these. Each card has it's own version of the future tied into it.

To be trapped forever, frozen in time, watching the world go by. To know there is only one way out, and to wish to take it.

Lore:
This card cannot be destroyed except by another "Future" Field Spell. When a player's Life Points reach zero, they do not lose. When this card is destroyed, the player who destroys it flips a coin. If heads, they win. If tails, they lose.

The world is flooded, with humans living on the surface in created islands, living off the deeps.

This card cannot be destroyed except by another "Future" Field Spell. During each player's Main Phase 1, each player can pick up and look at 1 set card on their opponent's side of the field.

The world is past humans, and healing from the damage done to the world.

The world is grey, a bleak rut with little creativity or imagination. Everything acts the same.

Shifting through the worlds, never tied to one for long enough.

This card cannot be destroyed except by another "Future" Field Spell. During each player's Sandby Phase. that player rolls a 6-sided die. That player must Banish a number of cards, from their hand, deck or graveyard, equal to the number rolled.

This card cannot be destroyed except by another" Future" Field Spell. Monsters cannot be destroyed by battle. All Battle damage is reduced to 0.

Lore:This card can only be destroyed by another "Future" field spell card. While this card is activated anytime a monster(s) is destroyed the controller of the monster(s) flips a coin if heads special summon the destroyed monster(s) in the position the were in when they were destroyed.

For dissonant i suggest you take out the part where only 1 monster can attack per turn (would render dark door useless and it is already really powerful with its other effect )

Also i find that your 1st field is kinda up'ed so maybe boost it up a little

Other than that, have to say you did a great job! 9/10 for your good work

Thanks. I'll get to that as soon as I can.

I also welcome ideas for any other "Future" to create. There's a whole list of possibilities out there.

Dude I got to say that these are awesome. Would you mind if I use Future 11: Natura in an RP I'm in. It would help a lot.
As for how good they are, they are awesome. 9.25/10 just because nothing is perfect.
Some ideas would be when the universe is filled with black holes. Maybe at the End Phase ever monster is destroyed or something.

Yeah, sure, go ahead. Just quote me on the card or something.

Psssh... [I]Black[/I] holes. One will be [I]wormholes[/I], that randomly banish and un-banish cards. Looking forwards to [i]that[/I] one.

Wow I will say that these are original I guess it would be fun to try to use all of them in one deck. I don't know how great they are when it comes to use though. Field cards have to almost be overpowered to be relevant. Or at least they have to do two things (i.e. Necrovalley, Dragon Ravine, Karakuri Castle/Geartown) most of these fields do only one things so I wouldn't really use them. So futures: 5, 11, 55, and 93 should probably get another effect.

Future 0 is great, but when I read the little sentence before I was thinking more around these lines.

When a monster would be destroyed by battle it is not. After the damage step the attacked monster cannot attack, activate its effect, or leave the field. Battle damage involving an attacked monster is reduced to 0. If the only monster(s) on a players side of the field are being affected by this effect the opponent can attack directly.

But your effect is good as well, it's just I was thinking around those lines.

*whistles* Wow. I was applying the card to the players, ou know: never-ending duel, etc, but tha would work too. I may use that for a petrifying future, maybe based on Pompeii. Thanks.

Well. That's not [I]Quite[/I] wha I ment, but sure-go ahead. And is there a way an I add them to the list up top, if I list who makes it?

Also, each Future is based on one unique possibility for the fate of earth, a possibility reflected in the effect. If people are going to add their own cards, I would ask that they include a short description of the future, a name that is a little unusual (in terms of the subject), and an effect that has a more future-Specific effect. This one is a little [I] too[/I] specific compared to the ones I made.

It's actually a good thing that it's a small bonus, otherwise the duel would just drag if the boost was something like 500 or 1000 per card.

Pretty good cards here. I like the concept, and the fact that they can only be destroyed when a new Future is played gives the idea of the Future itself being changed.

I was thinking along the lines of 200 to 250 per card and that's it

I think the effect is too short. The rest of the futures are more focused and defined. This one looks like a plain old Field Spell. Try a more involved effect.

Ive been meaning to make this card. It uses the effect that I said earlier.



The gates of Heaven and Hell have now closed. Those who are left are bound to the Earth.
