I know, 3 Torrential Tribute/Mirror Force may be overdoing it... does somebody know an efficient way to say "You can only use each of this banished cards once"?

Name was actually an accident. I wanted to write something with "Scarecrow" and started with "Screw" for some odd reason... the name was born :lol:

I love the card. Its name made me lol. It kinda reminds me of Scrap-Iron Scarecrow with its ability to negate attacks. I am also not quite sure why it is WIND, although I also don't see why not...

Anyway very balanced and original.

Alright. Minor (MINOR) OCG fixes here. And yes, I care about the "Once per turn" clause.

[b]Once per turn,[/b] during your opponent's turn: You can Detach 1 Xyz Material Monster from this card; Activate the effect of 1 [b]appropriate Normal[/b] Trap Card banished by this card's effect.

Blargh. I changed the first sentence to match the new OCG and I added the "You can" clause in front of the first effect because: What if you don't want to discard a Normal Trap Card? And what will happen if you have no Normal Trap Cards in your Graveyard? Or is it a drawback? Also, I added the "Once per turn," clause and added the "appropriate Normal" clause because you can't activate a Magic Cylinder on your opponent's Main Phase 1. Other than those minor mistakes, it looks like a great card!

Anyways, the trap thing is kind of overpowered, since it can lead to overuse with cards like COTH. 2 COTHs during your opponent's turn could probably turn into some insane OTK. Or maybe I'm wrong. Love the card otherwise.

Well, limiting it to Normal Traps only has mainly practical uses. Continuous cards can't really stay on the field if activated this way, and using a Spell Speed 3 Trap with a monster effect that can only be, by definition, Spell Speed 2 or lower, could end in some problematic ruling questions. About the activation problem: I think "appropriate" doesn't help here, the main problem is that you really have to activate the card (with the right timing). It should also, if worded this way, ignore costs (like discarding a card for Raigeki Break).
For now (because I don't know any better) let us assume that the effect how it's currently worded would ignore costs, but not conditions (such as Mirror Force's "When an opponent's monster attacks").

COTH is a Continuous Trap -> Doesn't work ;)
