How many Friggin Ninjas can you make out of gears and Wood!?!?

Karakuris are all about surprise(At least with there theme, not playstyle).
Ninjas are masters of surprise.
Ergo, Karakuri Ninjas.

....At least it gave them an excuse to support the "non-existent" Ninja archetype.

[s]They're...Borrrrinnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg. I don't Like MEEEETTAAAAAAAAAAAA.[/s] I really don't know. They just don't appeal to me as machines. (If you know me, you know the only good decks I've really made are Machine decks.)

Its because they are so obscure and "different", though they do have some nice Synchro monsters.
And I honestly read your "boooriing" in Pinkie Pie's voice.
The synchros are alright, but...I dunno...They are different, but I just think they aren't appealing to play with. I need to try them some more, though. Only played with them like twice.

They are basically weird-ass puppets that only come to life when they are needed.
Well...Ok...Huh.

The only reason Mechanical Spider became Karakuri Spider is because it was released as an Previously-OCG card on STBL.

Obviously, Karakuri Spider has NOTHING to do with the archetype.

OT: They are fun. In 1 turn you can end up with 1 Burei, 2 Bureido and a Stardust.

Karakuri are annoying. They can spam Synchros easily due to Komachi and their 2 Synchro monsters. They're essentially an OTK machine. I originally loved them, because they're so resilient to damage when used properly, but their level 8 Synchro and Komachi made them primarily an OTK deck that assimilated a Plant engine.

Now, I can't use them. I've tried, but I don't understand their plays when I'm at the helm. I probably could use them now that I've faced them a few times, but I just don't see them as fun anymore.

Actually 'Karakuri' pretty much translates to 'Mechanical'. They only left it as Karakuri because it was more fitting for the archetype.
And Mechanicalchaser's OCG name is not 'Karakuri Chaser', thats why he didnt get a re-name.

I know.

But like Watt Kid, Karakuri Spider doesn't help the archetype in any means.

A card doesnt need to help the archetype in the first place in order to be part of it. Its all about having a name to include ones self.
Batteryman C, for example.

Pure Karakuri builds are way better than KMP. Pure Builds are better than Machine Dupe builds. The deck is really good in the hands of good players, however since TG Hyper Librarian's release, the deck can't compete. I mean, it still can do good, however, you need to be able to abuse Librarian in order to win this format now.

They aren't all about surprise. They are more like a newer version of X-sabers, in how they play. Also, basing the whole archtype on 3 Karakuri cards is lolzy.

Ninishi Dupe anyone?

Is good, however, I dont like dupe at all.

The Karakuri theme is mechanical "dolls".
The Karakru playstyle is summon-a-bunch-of-monsters-because-Komachi for game.
