Flame Dragon
Blue took a hit with Jace getting banned, but M12 has a decent pool for them. Still, it's a lot weaker but Ponder and Mana Leak coming back is very helpful for them.

They are its ally colors for a reason. Personally black has a lot of cool toys so I'm looking forward to seeing the U/B control decks that get made. This mean: This isn't like Yugimonz where you can Splash things as easily. Also...try to go with a smaller mana curve in U/B
Ponder, Cancel
While Ponder is cheap, it isn't an answer. It helps you find answers, but you need more answers. Also, Cancel is bad. Counterspells aren't good in Standard if they cost more than two mana. At the very least, use Stoic Rebuttal instead of Cancel: it's the same thing as Cancel but can possibly cost less. Answer cards include Doom Blade and Go for the Throat. You should be running those kinds of things in U/B Control.
