endphase
I watched it 3 days ago. Definitely the best Harry Potter movie ever.
Do they still have the part where Mrs. Weaselly calls Bellatrix a b****?
Yes. I lol'ed. Shadow Ninja
I saw itttt! It was AWESOME!!! SPOILER!!...well not really From the scene where Minerva did the protective spell, I was like "This is the END!!!" *takes in every moment and remembers scenes from past movies in the locations showed* The end of Harry Potter. Childhood finished :') Still gonna stop whatever I'm doing to sit and watch those movies whenever they're showing. Every time I hear the HP theme song when the Warner Bros logo show, I rush for the TV. ♥
Fusion X. Denver
This would be the only movie where I would sit through the whole 2 hours resisting my urges to go to the bathroom.
Flame Dragon
The movie was good, but why did they change some of the scenes. I mean the whole final start of the final battle was changed and that was one of the most badass scenes in the book imo. Also, WHY THE HELL did they change what Harry does with the wand. I mean, what in the hell made them change it. Sure, some of the changes weren't that bad, like Snape's and Fred's deaths getting moved, but when some of them want to make me beat my head against the wall. But again, it was good. Shadow Ninja
Lol I didn't mind most of the scenes...Harry could've kept the wand though....as in the books where he hid it. They could've expanded on the ending, showing their children's faces properly. We just saw the back of Scorpius Malfoy. I liked the detailed ending of the books. I really wanted them to shoot the scene where everyone looked at them and the kids asked "why are they are staring at us?" and ron answered that they were staring at him, that daddy's famous. LOL. yeah, but like all, I heart this series and those movies
Aesirson
I didn't think it was possible to break the wand, so when he broke it I was like "wut?" He should've kept it or return it to Dumbledore's grave.

Flinsbon
All 8 movies were totally awesome. However, just for the sake of it, I would like them to release another complete series that stays 100% no alterations, true to the books. I mean they did manage to get a few paradoxes in the movies due to the editing. Like the thestrals - u know how u can see them unless uve seen death? Well Harry def saw Quirrell die b4 Cedric in the movies. In the book, though, he passed out and Dumbledore had to rip Quirrell of of Harry b4 he died. Thats just one of the mess-ups I wanna see fixed.

Brinolovania
I watched it today, and thought it was really good. Then the last 30 minutes came, and I died.
So the movie was fine, until the scene when Harry dies and talks to Dumbledore. For one thing, he just acted like he normally does. In the book he (meaning Dumbledore), talked about how he was sorry for putting Harry through all the stuff he went through. In the movie, he was just like "Oh look, you're dead. Weird ain't it." And he could have at least said a little about Ariana and stuff... Then, Harry told Ron and Hermione to kill Nagigni. He was supposed to tell Neville! How did Neville know that the snake had to die anyway? And he should have just made his dramatic speech, and killed her right there like in the book. The whole chase thing was dumb. And Voldy should have kept using that spell to make everyone be quiet that kept breaking. And Molly vs. Belatrix. It was so f***ing short! And you could barely tell that she nearly killed Ginny! And then Harry fought Voldemort all alone? They're supposed to be fighting in the middle of a circle of people, with Belatrix and Molly next to them. Then, Harry's supposed to talk about how the Elder Wand is his, and Voldy attacks him, and his curse rebounds. Why did their wands link anyway? Harry wasn't even using his....

Here the thing, most of the Dumbledore past stuff was cut in the movie. Can't really get into it when you don't show it. And I totally agree with that. Hell, I ranted about it in my post above. I hate that they changed how the FINAL battles went down because it was done so well in the book. He did talk about the wand though, and he did use a spell. The reason they added it is because it looks cool. And speaking of the want, as I've said I REALLLY hate what they did with both elder and harry's. Kazekage dragon
It was completely different from the book on many parts. However, as a movie itself I really loved it. It was a series which I literally grew up with and was a very emotional moment when it finished. It may seem weird but it was almost like losing a part of my life.
I, like many others, am very annoyed that they did not put Harry using Reparo on his wand. Also Voldemorts death wasn't exactly like the book but I would prefer if they fixed the wand deal. Also the epilogue felt a little rushed.
Anyways I really liked it as a movie itself and I'm really sad that the series is finally finished... Obviously.
Oh, and one more thing: J.K. Rowling has said that the reason she made the epilogue in the first place was so that people weren't worried about what happened to Teddy with both of his parents dead. And how much of Teddy do they show in the movie? Nada. And why didn't they show Percy coming back. And Kreacher leading the house elves to attack the Death Eaters ...OK, that was 3 things. But whatever.
NickiMinaj
I saw it at midnight, which was a waste of time. It wouldn't have been any different to have seen it another day. However, I found the whole thing saddening and depressing even though nothing sad or depressing might have been happening at a certain moment. The image that sticks in my mind is Lavender being eaten by Fenrir Greyback and just laying there with that glazed look in her eyes...it was awful. That was what made me want to cry. Poor Lavender. NickiMinaj
No...that was Lavender. He was leaning over her with a bloody mouth and then he got blasted away. In the book the kiss because Ron says they should evacuate the house elves. Why the went and cut everything house elf from the movies, idk. Hell, it makes Harry caring so much for Dobby a little odd since I don't think he shows up in movies 3-6. Percy was never a major character. He was brought up in the book because Rowling wanted to show what he felt was most important was his family since he had been a major ass for a while. Dr. Cakey
SPOILERS BANG BANG I hated the Deathly Hallows book, so it was no surprise that I was ambivalent about the movie. Things made more sense, at least, and all non-plot-related stuff was good. Voldemort was just as much as a silly caricature as he was in Book 7. There were some choices made in a few places made just to get a cheap cry or laugh which made me lose a bit of respect for whoever was directing it.
I did like Mrs. Weasley's duel with Bellatrix, although I was actually kinda hoping Bellatrix would be killed with an Avada Kedavra from Mrs. Weasley. They probably wanted to keep that curse to the bad guys, though, so I respect their decision to have Mrs. Weasley shrivel her up and shatter her.
I...never mind, hopefully everyone understands what's so absurd about this. EDIT: In the row ahead of me were a like ten screaming fangirls. They were so adorable...it made me want to crack open their heads and admire their hollow skulls. EDIT2: I get it, the Death Eaters are Nazis. Voldemort by this point is essentially Hitler in a different body.
Squidward Tentacles
It wasn't the best movie, but I thought it was... okay. But probably the funniest part was the look on Neville's face when the Snatchers started charging toward the bridge after the barrier was broken... hi-larious.
