Flame Dragon
The schemes are just stupidly overpowered. I mean, it is VERY hard to be the Archenemy.
Mysty
To me, this was the worst scheme that doesn't help the opponents (the ones that helped opponents are generally worse). For every opponent you have, this effect gets stronger. However, the more opponents you have, the less the life gain really means. My point: the stronger it gets, the weaker it gets. It didn't even really feel like a scheme either, just a decent spell. I'd honestly just run something else with a real impact.
No Scheme helps the opponent all of them just benefits the Archenemy... Also it is actually scheme is important if you pull it contantly...or just to increase the Life advantage...Remember that Archenemy is a 1 on X game...so you most likely have at least 2 opponents to troll about... ALSO COME ON READ THE FREAKING CARD'S NAME...XD is Hilarious... Also: Yeah being the Archenemy is become the most hated of your friends...XD... By the rules of Archenemy, you couldn't really set it into motion "constantly". It goes to the bottom of the scheme deck and probably won't be visited again. Life Advantage doesn't mean much in MtG. Card advantage is where it's at. Rather than running a Lightning Helix at each opponent, I'd rather run something that gives card advantage. Mysty
So?...I just made the topic on this card coz I like the name...>_< BUT the point was to discuss archenemy as a whole... Oh and early game, Embrace my Diabolical Vision does a lot of CA...not helping the opponent...
On Turn 1, you lose one card and your opponents lose three cards each, usually providing a +8 card advantage (assuming you have three opponents, which was implied to be the number of enemies to have). After the first few turns (and sometimes even after just the first turn), this card's advantage or disadvantage becomes a wild card and sometimes it flipping over becomes really bad for the archenemy and/or really great for the opponents (mainly if at least one of the opponents is playing aggro). Not to mention you could have made them shuffle away a bad hand and they might have drawn an amazing hand. Embrace my Diabolical Vision is just one of those schemes where sometimes you don't want to use it, and that's too risky for my taste (especially since I generally like reanimation decks, which Embrace my Diabolical Vision thwarts). I have never gotten to play a "real" game of Archenemy since I usually don't have that many 'casual' players at hand, but it's fun playing EDH when both people have a scheme deck. It adds a good amount of randomness and can allow for some really explosive plays early in the game.

-Lightray Daedalus-
The time we played was a 4 on 1 me was the archenemy and I run a not so good deck...still the schemes I used...Can't remember which one and how many copies of them...really broke my baddish deck... Also we tried to make a Planechase Archenemy Game but...it was going to be too much...XD
Mysty
First turn Introductions are in Order into Magister Sphinx. Life is good.
And/or second turn I'd You to Meet my Cohort into Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. Basically take one opponent out of the game while charging up to take out another. Life is really good. Super Villain Rumble Planechase EDH is amazingly fun. *Super Villain Rumble = everyone has a scheme deck
