oh cool, I was worried - No that would actually hurt the card because you couldn't mill a component with Prisma. It also means King of the Swamp plus a dead Gorz allows you to dark call into this.

Fiend is awesome to bring out with skill drain because his/her effect is notsogreat - Fiend doesn't pierce and it's effect is very easy to play around. Also we get E Hero Nova Master in 16? days - Evil Heroes will gain relevance with his release.

I worry about the sexual orientation of Nova Master though. He's such a flamer.

Colosseum?

Combined with Final Attack Orders, and we have our forced battle phase.

No. Malicious Edge is a good Evil Hero, and level 6+ Fiends aren't that common outside of Caius and Gorz, neither of which you'd normally run in Evil Heroes (maybe Gorz).

What hurts this card the most is the Dark Fusion part. It should have been summonable by Super Poly. Then its effect would be epic, since you could use Super Poly during the Battle Phase.

And really, Dark Fusion for all Evil Heroes always felt contrary to what the anime logic was: Dark Fusion was an evil version of Polymerization. Fusion Summons normally using Elemental Heroes and Polymerization became the corrupted, Evil Hero Version. Wild Cyclone= Wild Wingman, Inferno Wing= Flame Wingman. Lightning Golem= Thunder Giant. Infernal Sniper= Rampart Blaster, complete with "upgraded" versions of the Elemental Hero effect.

In the anime, Dark Gaia and Malicious Fiend were Summoned with Super Polymerization, which in itself was treated as an evil card, making the "corruption" make sense. Both Gaia and Fiend have at least one non-specific material. Since they're not really Evil counterparts of an existing Hero, I don't know why they must use Dark Fusion, aside from consistency among the archetype. But that's a valid enough reason, and they get Dark Calling as a result, so I can't complain THAT much.

Also,

This is not the problem with Summoning him.

This is the problem.

Crap, I should have omitted that in the first post. I'd edit it now, but Post editing is a b****, so you might as well continue with what you see.

Getting rid of the Dark Fusion clause wouldn't ruin consistency, since there would be nothing stopping it from being Summoned by Dark Fusion anyway.

I meant consistency in terms of "All Evil Heroes use Dark Fusion", an additional benefit being access to Dark Calling.
