Marco Polo
Lately I've made an insect deck for KCVDS, and I've been using Aztekipede and Doom Dozer. and liked their effects quite a bit. So I thought I'd make a WIND counterpart.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by returning 3 removed from play monsters to your Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the Field, no cards can be removed from the Graveyard, or sent to it.
The River Styx The river Styx, is a mythological place under Mountain Olympus. It was right next to Hades' kingdom and there were the dead, well most of them. This card literaly "guards" this the River Styx, and it's equal in Yugioh - Graveyard. Get the ratings going. ^^
Angel of Silence
If a card is sent to the Graveyard...Is it banished instead while this is face-up? Pic looks good. Effect seems good, maybe a little OP? Pretty useful card. OCG looks good. 8/
Marco Polo
Hmm, no. it cannot be destroyed since Graveyards are unaccessible. Thank you for the rating!
Marco Polo
Bump before it goes so many pages down that I won't even be able to find it.
Shadow Ninja
Hmm, no. it cannot be destroyed since Graveyards are unaccessible. Thank you for the rating!
Then, I suggest you state that all cards on the field cannot be destroyed (damage calculation is applied normally). I think destroyed cards should be banished if not sent to the Graveyard though. The effect does seem a little op'd to me. You can have the case where your opponent controls only Level 4 or lower monsters and they cannot tribute monsters for Summon. Then, this card would blow your opponent away since Level 4 monsters have a lower ATK than this card.
·Toot
this is interesting i like the rfp effect Field = field other than that OCG seems good (for the old version) pic looks familiar [s]trololololol[/s] 8.3/
Love of Ghibli
I like the wording the way it is because something can only be banished if you say it is (which is why most cards say remove from play or banish instead of sending to the graveyard). Having said that I love the card. Making everything immortal is an excellent way to mess with an opponent because now you have locked the ability to pay cost, fusion summon, synchro summon (how ironic that you can still xyz though). I would love to see this real. If I had to pick some to criticize (and this is being real knit picky) the picture doesn't match the name. That bird is wearing Japanese clothes while the River Styx is from Greek mythology. But nonetheless GREAT card
ragnarok1945
if you can't send them to the graveyard, where WILL the monsters go if destroyed in battle?
Marco Polo
if you can't send them to the graveyard, where WILL the monsters go if destroyed in battle? ragnarok1945
so where do they GO? You didn't say they get removed from play or anything like that
Marco Polo
Stay on the field. unless an other effect tells them to go somewhere else.
ragnarok1945
then you need to state that in the effect, not just imply it
Marco Polo
Everything that needs to be stated is stated, thinking they are removed from play afterwards is just a wild guess. There's no need to mention it. It goes as simple as that - Graveyards are not accessible. so when monsters are destroyed, they aren't sent anywhere because they can't be sent to the Graveyard. Most cards don't state what doesn't happen, but only what does.
Angel of Silence
Where do spell and trap cards go... Do they also stay on the field? Can I use Monster Reborn 10 times then? You need to clarify that.
Marco Polo
Monster reborn is activated only once when you activate it from your hand/flip so no, even though you won't be able to use monster reborn at all because Graveyards are not accessible. But you're right, spells and traps are a bit confusing, I might just fix that and reupload.
Marco Polo
This was quite a success, I allow myself to revive it then from the unknown 3-digited page it was in.
