No, I do not have asperger's syndrome. It's unfortunate if unrealistic that the majority of the people on this topic have A.S.

You do know people with A.S. retreat to technology and internet social sites to help fulfill their desires for companionship and to "fill the void" right?

I have Asperger's as well. I know I can be a bit erratic around people and I hate noises of any caliber, but is that a reason to give me the cold shoulder? I absolutely hate it when people avoid me/bother me just because of something caused by my condition. Anyways, I want to work with Aspies and other children who are disabled after college and just encourage them to not let anyone bother them.

Yes, I'm not saying that there aren't any members on this site with A.S. I'm saying I can spot a few who are attention whoring.

That is true. Then again, people with Asperger's usually crave attention. It is unusual that people who prefer solitude would want attention, but at the same time it makes more sense than both situations separated. After all, solitude increases the desire for attention, which most people with Asperger's.

I didn't know I had it, and when I found out I kept denying it since it feels weird knowing that you have a syndrome. Even so, I have to admit that the description of Aspergers fit me.

No need to deny it anymore. It is a part of yourself after all and it makes you you.

Also, the earlier people realize they have A.S., the more prepared you can be for the road ahead.

Fun Fact: Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of Pokemon, has Asperger's Syndrome.

A majority of people aren't diagnosed with it until adulthood. All you need to know.

Most people with Asperger's are actually diagnosed at younger ages than older ages. Signs can be shown later, but for the most part Asperger's is commonly diagnosed within children.

@Vough

No, he's alive.

Symptoms include intense interests, having trouble reading body language and being "socially awkward," but not necessarily shy. Also, my friend who has it has trouble changing topics in a conversation, which I think is a symptom.

I Have an OCD where all my windows must be shut whenever I voice record my voice while playing games(Lol, Walkthroughs) , as I fear someone will hear me and think I'm insane.

That's not even obsessive compulsive let alone a disorder. That's just common sense brother, haha. ;D

FACEBOOK LIKES LIED TO ME

Not sure what you mean by intense interests, but I wouldn't know otherwise. Meh at body language. And I'm not socially awkward, I'm just not a conversationalist, but I can hold a conversation if need me. And I have by no means trouble changing topics 0.0

I have it. And it has led me to become the smartes kid in my class (including the teachers) for a LOOONG time. Other then that and being horribly aggresive when I was little, I've experianced no problems from it.

* Basic grammar, don't start a new sentence with "and".
* People with AS tend to be very literal and have vast knowledge over certain areas. Basically, a kid is a baby goat.

You're the smartest what in your class?

That's a perfect way of putting it. My friend knows the names of every Bleach character and all their swords, first names and last, which I find ridiculous. So I guess AS gives you super-comprehension?
T...that's not AS!
I can identify all these tohos by their full names.
