Lonk
No, I do not have asperger's syndrome. It's unfortunate if unrealistic that the majority of the people on this topic have A.S.
You do know people with A.S. retreat to technology and internet social sites to help fulfill their desires for companionship and to "fill the void" right? I have Asperger's as well. I know I can be a bit erratic around people and I hate noises of any caliber, but is that a reason to give me the cold shoulder? I absolutely hate it when people avoid me/bother me just because of something caused by my condition. Anyways, I want to work with Aspies and other children who are disabled after college and just encourage them to not let anyone bother them. It is unusual that people who prefer solitude would want attention, but at the same time it makes more sense than both situations separated. After all, solitude increases the desire for attention, which most people with Asperger's.
evilhorus
Wow, I'm surprised and sorry to hear so many people have Asperger's Syndrome. I don't think I know many that have it, although judging by some replies here, the symptoms can be unnoticeable, so I don't know.
Merci
I didn't know I had it, and when I found out I kept denying it since it feels weird knowing that you have a syndrome. Tentacruel
@Vough No, he's alive. Symptoms include intense interests, having trouble reading body language and being "socially awkward," but not necessarily shy. Also, my friend who has it has trouble changing topics in a conversation, which I think is a symptom.
