Lonk
We all know about the Ice Barriers and how broken their synchros are. What I really want to discuss here is that in PHSW, Ice Barriers received a new monster known as Preacher of the Ice Barrier (which most of the TCG members know by now). So, post-PHSW, how playable are Ice Barriers?
.Nu-13
I must say, they're pretty good. Preacher and Surfacing give them the needed boost

Spoon
They finally don't have to use that crutch that is the Frog engine anymore. Can easily set up their small "locks" and have a very versatile Graveyard gameplay... all they needed to skyrocket from mediocre to almost awesome was one single card. I doubt that they'll be seen on any big tournaments, but they became a lot more playable. Me gusta
byak
Uh, they're still supposed to use Swap Frog.
evilhorus
@Spoon Best avi ever. I like to see another ME fan. OT: I'd like to know how to do them properly, I have zero knowledge on them.

Lonk
I remade my Barrier Deck to fit in the Undine Engine so that Preacher can work even better.
Spoon
Uh, they're still supposed to use Swap Frog.
That's a Frog, not the whole engine, mainly referring to Treeborn Frog/Ronintoadin, thus allowing them to run Traps... and I heard that's good this format. endphase
They're pretty good now. Preacher made this archetype much more playable. Merci
Uhh. . . . I only run Brionac and Trishula. Though the archetype might be worthwhile, I feel best sticking to something else.
CDDRodrigo
Preacher is what the archetype needed. And Surfacing is pretty good now.
