ihop Posted July 28, 2011 Report Share Posted July 28, 2011 Nothing special, but I thought it might be a good read as I can remember most of the games. Running Chaos Plant, no Tengu, I will post decklist at some point. 10 people, of which 4 are bad and 5 are fairly good and 1 is me. 4 rounds, top 4. Round 1 (awful scraps played by an awful player): Game 1: She ends up having 3 scrap goblins on the field as I refused to attack into them. But then I can make Shooting Star, and then make Black Rose with 2 plants in Grave to use its effect twice in 2 turns. Game 2: I make shooting star again (drawing 141 + Dandy ftw), and she wastes Dark Hole on it and I get through the game easily. Round 2 (Dragunity playing REDRUM engine): Game 1: All he can draw is Ravine which I MST and I can sorc his stardust. Game 2: The guy draws FuFu and Ravine, he can quickly make a few synchros and as I'm forced to solemn the FGD he can win quickly and easily. Game 3: Draws Ravine and FuFu again, and then tops 2 legionnaires in a row so I have no chance. I'm ashamed because this guy is supposed to be a bad player, but he played a sacky deck and drew FuFu too often. He goes on to go 4-0 and gets top 2 somehow. Round 3 (best player in the tournament, playing Zombies): Game 1: He ends up having Book of Life, Reborn and Mind Control in hand but can't draw a monster so loses it to a few synchros. Game 2: He summons injection fairy lily to which I have no outs. 2 attacks from it mean are all he needs for me to scoop. Game 3: I hit him with a Normal Summoned birdman 5 times then eventually win it with Sorc, Arcanite and then summoning Caius. Round 4 (Worms): Game 1: I dark hole his first turn Yagan and Xex, and he has no outs to me making Black Rose and Stardust Game 2: The game goes on for a while with him on 3700 and me on 8000 but eventually has 2 cards in hand and none on field, declares summoning Xex but actually places warning on the field, from that knowledge I can Lyla next turn which leaves him open to Black Rose, leaving him with nothing. I win shortly after. Top 4 (Tengu plant) Game 1: He summons tengu turn 1, I set ryko and he summons Caius, removing ryko and attacking for 4100. The nest turn he tributes the next Tengu for another caius, hitting my Dandylion for game. :/ Game 2: Dont' remember it very well, but I remember constantly drawing Debris and avarice leaving him with nothing. Game 3: He makes thought ruler early on and puts himself on 10500, the game swings around until he decides it with Tengu. Not bad, the prize is 1 turbo pack 5, which is terrible and all I pull is a Wulf. Still, fun times. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lol, you'd better do something about that AIDS XD OT: Congrats for getting top 4 etc. etc. I didn't actually know you only played 3 Traps, Ehren and Birdman. Were they last minute changes? Were they last minute changes? [/quote] Bible top 4 but apart from that yes. Ehren was a change I made 2 weeks ago as I randomly got an Ehren. Birdman was just a weird idea of mine. IT WORKS.
