It was one of the worst, but the ideas in there were quite brilliant, including Chain reliance like [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Chain_Strike"]Chain Strike[/url] and messing with monster card zones like [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Alien_Infiltrator"]Alien Infiltrator[/url]. Now your job is to do something similar. Try to mess with the current game mechanics without actually making up new mechanics (though new terms are acceptable). You can use existing ideas like the monster zone manipulation, or you can get possible bonus points by coming up with something that hasn't been done before. I will not be grading on OCG or pictures, my entire scale will be the idea and how you executed it. I would like each person to make 2 cards with their idea (even if it's an existing one), and if it's a brand new one, I'd like to ask that you explain how you think the idea would work. Once per turn, this card can move to an unoccupied Monster Card Zone. This card can only attack monsters that are in the same column as this card. When this card declares an attack, you can change the battle position of 1 monster your opponent controls. (Flip Effects are not activated at this time.) You can only control 1 "Parallel Savior". [b]Aether Hero Thunder Chain[/b] DARK/Warrior - Effect/1/?/? This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with its own effect. If a Chain of 2 to 4 Links occurred in your Main Phase 1, you can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard after it resolves. This card's Level becomes equal to the number of Links in that Chain, and its original ATK and DEF each become the number of Links in that chain x 500. This card's effect becomes an appropriate effect based on the number of Links in that Chain: ●2: This card can attack your opponent directly. If it does, the Battle Damage it inflicts to your opponent becomes its original ATK. ●3: Once per turn, you can destroy 1 face-up card your opponent controls. If a player activates an effect that targets (exactly) 1 card, that target must be in the same column as the card that had the effect activated. [b]Chain Meteor Shower[/b] Spell/Quick Activate only as a Chain Link 5 or higher. Destroy all cards your opponent controls, and inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed by this effect. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn you activate this card (or your next turn, if this card was activated during your opponent's turn). And master, I asked for a new game mechanic that doesn't actually mess with the current game mechanics, like the shifting card zones I showed earlier. You can make your own, but I asked for an explanation of it, so if these are in fact new mechanics, I just don't see them and need the explanation of how they are in your post. Ieyasu Tokugawa Posted August 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 9, 2011 Your Monster is okay since not much else destroys stuff in the hand, but I'd like your second card to do something similar to your monster, though it doesn't have to do the exact same thing, nor be directly connected to it. Laser Knight- Extra Burn 7 Star, Light, 2500 attack, 2100 defense. Machine type. When this card does battle with a monster summoned from the Extra deck it gains 300 attack points. Your opponents monsters from the Extra deck can not attack the turn there summoned. When this monster destroys an opponents monster that came from the Extra deck your opponent receives 2 tokens in defense mode, these token are Level 1 no effect versions of the destroyed monster with half it's attack and defense. These tokens cannot be used for any type of summoning. 1. Laser Knight- Manipulator 4 star, Light, 1500 attack, 1600 defense. Machine type. When this monster is destroyed by battle you can seal one of your opponents monster card zone's for 2 turns. when this monster is destroyed in battle by a monster from the extra deck you can negate the effect and special summon one monster from you opponents Extra deck.
