1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
As long as this card is on the field: Set Spell/Trap Cards cannot be activated for 2 turns after being Set. When this card attacks: You can halve the Battle Damage; destroy 1 Set Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 monster; flip 1 face-up monster your opponent controls face-down, but do not change its battle position. When this card destroys a face-down Defense Position monster: Banish it instead. When this card destroys a face-down Attack Position monster: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of the destroyed monster's ATK.

1 "Cyborg" Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon and its own effect. When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can select 1 face-down monster. That monster cannot flip face-up as long as it is on the field. When this card destroys a face-down Defense Position monster, remove it from play instead. When this card attacks a face-down Attack Position monster, destroy it without flipping it face-up and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of the face-down monster's ATK. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can Tribute 1 face-down monster to Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position.

I originally planned to create a Cyborg set in the middle of 2010 that gave support to "Darkness Approaches". That idea didn't sit well, so the set was shelved. For the revamp, I changed the effect a bit to give it a "Darkness Approaches" type effect that could have use.
If you are wondering why there are 2 versions of the revamp featured, some members dock points down for not having a Realistic Copyright. Also, I don't think I did that great of a revamp with this one.

NOTE: Read the lore, not the card for the effect.

Anyway, CnC?

1st effect is like Mobius the Frost Monarch

seems a little TOO easy to rid your opponents spells/traps, since all you have to do is attack with it

combined with the burn effect of the face down atk, that's a bit too much

I'd take out the burn effect

I could take out the Spell/Trap destruction. I'm usually not at 100% during the evening though.

I do think the Mobius effect should be removed.

I like the rest of the card though, would be nice in a Dark Simorgh lockdown deck :D

8.8/10

Remvamps are tricky, especially if its not a good card from where you started. The destruction upon entering is gone.

Card is much better now. It inflicts battle damage as well as the burn when attacking face-down Attack-position monsters, correct?
Revamp is when you take an old card and update it. And yes. That effect is similar to "Gore, the Royal Flames" that I made last month.

Its an interesting card, to me it seems balanced
I like the effect of it does give a "Darkness Approaches" feel, but that's what you were going for.
I'll give it a 8/10
I think you should continue that set that you were planning, It will be interesting.
