pro-circumcision
...no.

That side was pro-"let parents choose whether their child gets a circumcision", considering that the other side is pro-"let children choose whether they get a circumcision".

We aren't debating about the petty and negligible benefits and consequences of getting a circumcision - if we were, we would have hit a stalemate a loooooong time ago.

pro-choice and pro-abortion are the same thing

Pro-choice is taking the stance that a mother is allowed to choose whether she wants an abortion or not.
Pro-abortion is taking the stance that abortions are completely moral and should bear no restrictions.

Pro-abortion is the logical opposite of pro-life: where pro-life says abortions are immoral and should never be done, pro-abortion says abortions are completely moral and should be done whenever, wherever, and to whoever.

A lot of pro-choice people believe it is the mother's choice but still aren't comfortable with abortion itself - a lot of these people would like abortion to become fully legal but programs instituted that will counsel mothers that decide to not go through with an abortion.

A lot of pro-choice people are also pro-abortion, but it's quite obvious that the former term is more moderate while the latter term is almost bordering on liberal extremism (at least in America, which is just normal liberalism in Europe).

The two terms cannot be used interchangeably because they simply do not mean the same thing. Pro-choice and pro-abortion supporters will probably both advocate the same bills and laws to be passed because they mutually share the belief that mothers, in the end, have the right to an abortion. However, their views on abortion as a procedure are different. Take me, for example. I am completely and indefinitely pro-choice, but I would only say I'm pro-abortion in certain circumstances - for example, during the first trimester of pregnancy for most women, and any time at all during the pregnancy for a rape case or a case that affects the woman's health.

Exactly. That's why I cringe when I see those, "Rejoice! Your mother was not pro-choice!" bumper stickers. It's unbelievably retarded. >_______>

Conservatives in America have... uh... really weird ways of promoting their beliefs. Bumper stickers with illogical, irrational, and downright stupid claims?

I laughed. Obviously just because someone is pro-choice doesn't mean they only get abortions, but if it were worded a bit better I think it'd be a lot more clever.
