The idea was heavily influenced by a good friend of mine, Ixigo, a talented writer and cardmaker who helped me think up "The Heart-Broken Maiden." I do not claim ownership of them. All pictures from photobucket.com. Super Rare Promotional Card: Card Lore:"This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Betrayal of Love." This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle while as it is in Attack Position (Damage Calculation is applied normally.) If you take an amount of Battle Damage equal to 1000 or higher from a battle involving this card, select and take control of the monster that battled with this card. When a monster on your side of the field that was affected by this card's effect is destroyed, it is sent to the Graveyard of its original owner and you discard 1 card. If "Heart-Broken Maiden" is destroyed or removed from the field, switch control of all monsters affected by this card's effect to your opponent. If there are not enough empty Monster Card Zone(s), send the affected monsters to the original owner's Graveyard." Card Lore:"Once per turn, during your Main Phase, select 1 of your opponent's face-down Spell or Trap Card(s) on the field. If it is a Trap or Quick-Play Spell Card, your opponent must activate it if possible. If your opponent cannot activate the selected card, then it is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. This monster cannot be destroyed during your turn (Damage Calculation is applied normally). When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, draw 2 cards from your Deck." Card Lore:"This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle while it is in Attack Position (Damage calculation is applied normally). When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, you can add 1 "The Heart-Broken Maiden" from your Deck to your hand. If you Ritual Summon "The Heart-Broken Maiden," you can treat this card as the whole tribute." Card Lore:"When this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, you can return it to your Deck instead (Damage Calculation is applied normally). At the beginning of your next Battle Phase, you can Special Summon this card from your Deck to your side of the field. When this card is Special Summoned from your Deck to the field, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent's Life Points." Card Lore:"When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned select up to 5 face-up monster(s) on your opponent's side of the field. Increase the ATK of each of the selected monster(s) by 500. When a selected monster(s) is destroyed or removed from the field, increase this card's ATK by 400 and inflict 300 damage to your opponent's Life Points." Card Lore:"This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle while it is in Attack Position (Damage Calculation is applied normally). When you take an amount of Battle Damage equal to 1000 or higher from a battle involving this card, you can reduce any Battle Damage you receive from that battle by half, and inflict 700 damage to your opponent's Life Points." === Thanks for looking! Cyber_Com, i havent a clue how this set evaded me, alot of sets are doing that resently lol Great cards ^_^ Although is 'as a result of battle', not an Old OCG lore?? and i thought you were against old lores as they 'were not correct' Ive seen new cards with 'by battle' Which is correct? as you said Sweet child' date=' let's not have fight. Then we'll have an argument-which I will win. ;) And for your obviously lacking information, [b']old OCG is not correct[/b]-it is the up-to-date ones that should be used by any...er...competent cardmaker. Such is the example for "by battle" and "as a result of battle." Only one is correct, whilst (I love that word! :3) both have been used in the past. That's all I have to say on the matter-this is getting ludicrous. well?? As the cards in phantom darkness say 'by battle'... Secondly, I'm, delighted to hear you like them-thanks. Thirdly, I'm not quite sure. From what I can gather here.... “as a result of” is the new “by”… If we believe that, then I'm right, but you are correct-PTDN uses "by battle." Perhaps Bhim was wrong-these things happen. :S Regardless, I still think "as a result of" sounds much better. :3 And, dear, it's "contradiction." Thanks for taking the time to look at these. But i get a bit sick of seeing constant anime people in these cards. I know it's only my opinion, most of you are going to condem me to Hell. I mean, that's where some people lack i think, is taht they love anime so much (yes i am aware yugioh IS an anime) but as you can see, very little, if not any of the monsters (yup monsters, these don't look like monsters :shock:) don't look like that. 9/10 for the set, i love the lore of the cards. That's just nasty. -_- SirBeanAlot, if you were to look at my opening post, I do not claim credit for the images. All of them are from photobucket-thus the original artist is impossible to find. I understand about the whole "anime" thing, but finding pictures for them is hard enough without making them look extremely realistic. Also, most female monsters do look anime-ish.
