It's part of the effect and done at resolution (it's after the semi-colon). 2- You don't detach to Summon THIS. You detach to Summon a Token 3- It's not once per turn, nor is it a Summoning Condition for this. Because of this, the combo falls flat due to the intended combo with Birdman.
