Damn my textbook and Wikipedia have different answers so you will all call me wrong >.>

I am not saying he wasn't idealistic. I'm attempting to convey how (according to my university textbook) he defines the form of government that is ruled by many were in the rulers make decisions based on their own personal intrest is called a democracy while the ideal version is known as a Polity. (Once again Wikipedia won't back me up >.>)

EDIT: Actually wiki backs me up on everything but Polity.

To rule a country well, you have to have some way to get money. People don't understand that if they don't provide service to their country in some way, shape, or form, their quality of life will go down. The world revolves around money. If you want to be the best leader, not everyone can like you.

If *everyone* was perfect, then communism would be the way to go ._.

No your gtting me wrong, America should quit voting for corrupted idiots to take offices and political positions where their going to corruptedly act as a "World police". As someone stated before someone like Abe Lincon was a just leader, back in that time we didn't have millitary, we had mallitia's which was the way it should still be.
So, by your reasoning, we should have small groups of poorly armed civilians try to take on terrorism? Sounds legit.

America votes for idiots because of corruption in media. Instead of fact, you get opinion. Which is not what the nation needs. What happens is after these "corrupted idiots"take office, they take advantage of the public and the resources given to them by such, in which opinion based media covers up, and therefore these elected officials can keep getting away with things. America feels the need to be the "World Police" because the government sees that other nations aren't doing what is "acceptable" to meet the world's (America's) standards. So we keep trying to "better" other nations in the hopes of making the world a better place. But it is the way we handle such, that it makes everything worse.

This is all impossible because "perfect" can mean too many things. For instance it could be referring to people who work perfectly together to better the human race. Or it could be referring to people who all want what is in their best intrest and so the are "perfect" in an astronomically different way.
This is the problem. A perfect society would be the best society, but it's literally impossible. That's the problem with Communism. Also:

I disagree. If everyone were perfect demarcy or however you spell it is better. I think government is important so if everyone were perfect a random group of people would be the best way to form a government.

You said a perfect society would be a democracy, we said a perfect society would probably be communism. You can't just start saying "perfect doesn't exist" to prove your point.

Corruption is little more than a currency. If you see it as something else and you're on the internet, I suggest going somewhere you think doesn't have it. Maybe you noticed, that's what I did. Whether you start your own site or a blog or a tumblr or whatever tickles your fancy, the wonderful thing about the nets is that they go pretty much forever in all directions. Pick a new one and profit.

Sometimes you'll even make new friends, que concepta.

I'd like to make a slight correction to an earlier post that is making me mad!!!!

Larenxe stated: "America needs to mind its own business and stop acting like the world's police."

No just no! America does not need to mind our own buisness and stop being the WORLDS POLICE! The corrupt idiotic goverment officials in the US need to stop acting like the WORLDS POLICE!!! America as a whole doesn't want half the sh!t thats going on to be happening. 9/11 was a corrupted scheme by George Bush and Bin Laden just to go into Iraq and make sure they had no Nuke's. Also for the gas which Bush states we need so bad, yet we half plenty gas in Alaska that can be drilled. Think about it, why are we so worried about other countries nuke's yet we don't do anything about our's? The simple answer is corruption. If the US goverment was abolished, and was run by state and or local mallitia's their would be alot less poblems. We wouldn't be wasting billions of dollars on these corrupted politicians and their abuses of power, and everything that the US would be doing in other countries; would be gone about the right way!!!
So...we should do away with the Federal Government...the one thing that's holding the US together. Then put fifty small governments in control of the US while giving each one a small army to control. ...am I the only person that's seeing the chaos that would ensue from this situation? .-.

There is a reason why George Washington and them discontinued this idea when they tried it! >.<
